Best pre built out there
I bought this knowing about Nuphy’s quality - I have an air 75 bought directly from Nuphy.I love my air 75 but it comes back and forth to work with me and I wanted another keyboard to leave at home.I bought an epomaker th80 and it’s great but it was a little big and I think the user settings are a little clunky.Upon receiving the halo 65 I was blown away by the sound and feel immediately. The baby kangaroo switches (I’m a weird one that prefers tactile switches) are great all around switches for gaming, working, or anything else.It sounds really nice with the silicone deadener and I don’t feel like it would ever kid the board other than maybe re-lubing the switches in maybe a year so.Out of the box the stabilizers are well lubesD but they felt like it took a little while to break them in? Maybe over lubed. as I’m typing this I’m thinking it would be worth it to do the medical tape mod on the stabs and re lube to give them all more consistency. The left shift just feels kinda stiff and enter feels kinda clacky/looseThe ghost bar is unreal. It really is revolutionary and so pleasant to use.Although with the replacement non ghost bar included it still sounds great because the board itself has silicone deadener as a base for the space bar and it does a great job by itself on keeping down the rattle. They may have even over corrected the initial design because I can’t imagine the space bar ever being rattly on this new design.Long story short if you want a board that is absolutely a joy to use out of the box you will not be disappointed in any way. Also if you would like a board that is going to be an amazing base, easy to customize and highly compatible, this is definitely my top recommendation. My epomaker th80 sits on the shelf most days of the week unless I just feel like switching it up or need the more accessible f row for a particular game. You won’t regret it!

Stop thinking. Buy this keyboard.
I'll normally begin modifying a keyboard right out of the box; lubing and filming switches, foaming cases and top plates, tape mods, etc. to make them feel and sound better...This keyboard was such an enjoyable experience right out of the box, it's the first time I've actually just left the keyboard exactly how it was. The ghost bar is absolutely amazing sounding. I got the model with baby kangaroo switches, they're easily the best feeling tactile switches I've ever used. The bump is right at the top, and even unlubed or filmed they're really good feeling.Maybe I'll lube/film them one day, but as of now I'm finding myself typing more than ever, beating my typing speed records, and just being generally content with this rig.I use it wirelessly about 75% of the time, and the connectivity seems solid. A lot of the time lately I'm using a tv as a monitor and sitting across the room, having zero issues. In the mechanical keyboard hobby, this is a budget or entry level keyboard. When you compare this to every other budget/entry offering, this keyboard does it all better in my opinion. If that's what you're looking for, save your keychron or RKS money and buy one of these. The 75% and 94% are live on NuPhy's website, but if you're in the market for a 65% I would get it from amazon for the simple return option if it's not for you or if something did happen to be wrong with your keyboard. Also: if you're a tactile switch person: get the baby kangaroo switches. If you're a linear switch person: get the baby raccoon. Easily worth the $10 upgrade over the browns or reds.Nuphy did send demos of their glacier switches, which felt super nice, but for me, the baby kangaroos are the real winner.

If you’re in the market for a pre-built, this might just be the one.
I have had my eye on the Halo65 for a little bit now and the more I watched and read about it, the more confident I was knowing I wouldn’t regret it.I was fortunate enough to snag this beauty with the Baby Kangaroo switches during the Black Friday sale before they sold out and I am more than impressed. The initial sound and feel of the keyboard out of the box is what I would imagine people in this hobby aim for and for someone like me, it’s absolutely perfect. The high quality pbt caps feel nice to the touch and the pre-lubed switches are smooth, poppy, and sound excellent. The top of the case is aluminum while the bottom is a sturdy plastic and they filled this bad boy full of silicone so the dampening is real!My favorite feature is the space bar dampener. Goodbye bandaid mod that half worked. Oh and rattle, who?The rgb is nice and easy to customize. They include a cool poster with all of the fn inputs and combinations on the back to customize the board to your liking and change other settings such as mac or windows mode. You can connect the board through Bluetooth, wired (nice quality braided cord included), or 2.4g dongle and the dongle can click right into the side of the board when not being used so you don’t lose it!Lastly, they provide you with a small assortment of switches for you to test out as well as some extra keycaps for you to take the customization even further!I personally opted for the night breeze switch in the space bar because I thought it felt the smoothest. You can tell they really put thought and effort into making this quality board and it’s almost unreal for the price.I highly recommend to anybody looking for a solid prebuilt!
