These brushes have somewhat firm bristles but they are soft enough that they don't harm your hair. They are also good quality. I have thick hair that firmer bristles get snagged in and it has actually pulled the bristles out of other brushes. These boar bristles stay in the brush where they belong.

This brush is a great product. It does work well on all hair types.

Warning: if you're looking for a brush with thick, soft bristles, this is NOT the one for you! The bristles are thin/fine, and surprisingly stiff. If you're older like me and have thinning hair you might even find it a little bit scratchy, but my hair is also and always has been very fine, so this was exactly what I was looking for. They're even stiff enough I can part my hair using this, so away went the comb I used to use - no longer needed! Worked so well I bought a second one.

This brush is great for long curly hair, the bristles are hard! It definitely gets the job done!

Overall it’s a good brush but like some say you’ll be buying another one due the bristles falling out And for me it doesn’t quite brush thru thick hair how I would like it too
