I saw a video featuring one of these (but it was a bit more expensive). I had a voucher from work so took a punt and bought this to give it a try. Just bought a tent for the kids (5&6) to start enjoying the outdoors with them this year. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was absolutely spot on!! We had a test run of the tent at the weekend, and I fired this up. It’s solid enough to hold a couple of KG of wood (it says 5kg max, I didn’t feel the need to put that much on). Easy to put together, and easy to put back in the travel back this morning. Very little mess too!! We used it to warm up for 10 minutes before getting in the tent, and of course to toast some marsh mellows. It’s light weight, and while it is solid you probably wouldn’t want little ones running around near it as it isn’t a weighty fire pit. It’s perfectly travel size!! Once the fire was out, the frame cooled down super quick, so you don’t have to sit around hours waiting for it to cool down. Bargain camping fun. First round in the tent was a success now the kids want to do it more. I need to find more good bits though, so recommendations welcome!!

Simple to put together, small and compact when folded up in bag but big enough for an effective little fire pit. Can apparently take upto 5kg of logs. Did read a review where someone broke it but as long as you put smaller logs on and not just one or two big ones it was surprisingly sturdy. No ash fell through apart from just a very few tiny specks.Will be buying a couple more for presents...

After seeing other wild campers using similar pits,I decided to get one. Brilliant !!! Took a couple of attempts to figure out the orientation of the support legs, but easy now. Due to its height it protects the ground beneath it, but I still wet the ground before, during and after use. The supplied gloves are useless !!!!

Did some research on these products for some time.Looked at many and have found that this is way best for the price.It is really neat and compact, arriving in it's own small hand held carry case which fits anywhere.Very very quick to assemble, and even quicker to put away.I initially thought about the mess afterwards, yet it is very easy.The ground in which it is placed does not burn or scorch.It can hold quite some hefty weight, and is ideal for Bonfire Nights, and Autumnal evenings.The product comes with four handy toggles at the end, and one spare.TOP TIP...Amazon sell some brilliant toasting sticks, and they fit superbly on the edges of the unit,Perfect for making S'mores for those long winter evenings ahead.Neat piece of kit.

I was skeptical as it was so cheap, but it's absolutely amazing. Very sturdy once assembled which is incredibly easy. The mesh keeps all the soot and Ash confined but also allows a good air flow for the fire.Very light and compact for easy mobility.

This is a fab product. I’ve seen people use washing machine drums or spending ages building some square configuration that by the time it’s finished it’s morning !This comes in a great case and in 2 minutes it’s built and ready to use. I use instant logs and have easily burnt 2 at the same time on this.The best thing is no ash falls through the wire gauze and in the mooring you simply shake the ash into a bin bag and wipe.One of my best camping gadgets!

Decent fire pit for wild camping to keep the ground undamaged. Doesn't have any instructions though so can be a bit confusing to set up.Does seem a bit flimsy but can hold quite a decent sized fire - enough to keep a group if 5 (at least) warm when camping in winter.For the price it's a decent set up
