It came promptly and well packed. I now use the box it came in to store 3 old car engines that I have. The bubble stuff has been used for therapy. There is something calming about popping bubble wrap. The part is not just shiny, it is “oooohhhhh shiny!” Not only that, but it fitted straight out of the pack with no modifications. The Italians are masterful engineers. The price was ok. I probably should have just purchased an entirely new unit. What, with the cost of a new handle, lid grip, funnel filter and filter with rubber O rings, I spent more than the cost of a new unit. However, I treasure the memories made over numerous coffees with my percolator way more than the cost of the parts.
