Where Is the Colosseum?

Very informative book! Kids learn a lot from these Who was, Where was or is, and What is or was books.

Every book in these series (Who Was, What Was, Where Is) is worth adding to your library. In my classroom they are the ones that have been read over and over. Students sign up to check out the newest releases even before they have arrived. I am collecting them all and have over 125 to date. So interesting, I read them as soon as they arrive.

Bought this for my 8 year old for homeschool history. We both enjoyed reading it.

We homeschool and love these series of books and get them whenever we can- makes history more fun- great for read-aloud time or for alone reading for the kids!

Very good. Also includes some information on other aspects of Roman life besides just the uses of the Colosseum. Wish the author had given more details about the Colosseum itself - especially the system of pulleys and underground chambers.

Great for the kid dis and adults too

This was the perfect book for preparing my children to visit Rome! We enjoyed it very much!

Bought this to go with a 3D puzzle of the Colosseum for my son... He loved them both. :)

Certamente sarò solo l'ultima di milioni di persone che usano e conoscono questi librini, ma devo dire che anche io adoro questa serie. leggerli ai miei figli o per preparare qualche gita su luoghi di interesse (Colosseo, Partenone...) o per preparare qualche ricerca è sempre una chiave vincente. Le informazioni (da buoni americani) vanno dritte all'osso e in più ci sono brevi approfondimenti anche su tematiche correlate di interesse (ad esempio la Viata quotidiana della civiltà romana…). Le vite dei personaggi storici presentano sempre un episodio particolare che attira la attenzione e la memoria dei bambini.lettura scorrevole e piacevole.Certo l'unico neo è che sono inglese. peccato.
