Excellent anti cat toilet
To be fair I did not buy this for its intended purpose. My obnoxious cat had decided that my weeping fig tree was his new personal toilet. So to stop him I bought this cut the vent off and slit the side, and placed it in the pot. Happy tree, disgruntled cat 🐈

Good product, a bit pricey, but beware how you use them ...
These cloches are very useful but expensive - I'd expect a bit cheaper for online ordering.Beware the way you use these. Remove them from your plants on warm sunny Spring days, otherwise you risk cooking your plant - I learnt this the hard way in May 2017, when a batch of outdoor Sweet Pepper plants got baked under these cloches (vents fully open) one sunny day. The vent at the top, when fully open, is not big enough to provide adequate passive ventilation under such conditions. I now cut the tops off mine to prevent my plants getting heat-stressed in warm sunny weather in early Spring. I'd give them a 5 if they had a bigger ventilation area at the top. The good thing is they are reusable year-after-year.

Cloche
Terribly Flimsy plastic - you might as well use a large milk carton as a cloth instead for the same thickness of plastic. Hugely overpriced for what they are. I imagine they’ll do the job will be using them as a temporary fix until I can find something more suitable to with stand such bad weather and they also do not include metal fixing pegs to fix them into the ground Which they definitely need as these will certainly blow away away with the slightest gust of wind Without pegging down

Work well
Bought these cloches to protect our catnip plants from our three cats. The cloches did the job but we took them off too soon. Three of our four catnip plants have been completely eaten. The one that survives has a cliche on it but it’s clear one of the cats has sat on it as the top is heavily dented!

Extremely expensive for thin plastic rubbish
Very disappointing - fimsy plastic similar to that which supermarkets use to pack cakes in and vastly overpriced - if they paid the manufacturers £1 for all 3 they've been robbed.

Does the job but flimsy
The cloches do the job and came promptly, but they are flimsy. To be fair the description does say they are made of plastic, but it is very thin. Also note that pins do not come with them, so any new gardener would have to order them separately. All that being said, they fit nicely over my plants and so far are satisfactory.

better in others
These work! I have had no problem with snails, but one slug burrowed beneath the rim, the cloche can't do anything about that. The plastic is a bit flimsy on some of them. The opaque white circle of plastic in the top for ventilating purposes doesn't fit at all well in some, better in others. A tape over the top fixed this for me. The cloches are excellent at protecting seedlings and keeping in moist air. They stack well and are light enough to sit easily on a shed shelf.

product as described
In the past have used to cover dahlias in winter. This lot were used to protect veg plants from late frosts
