**Q: I want to plug this into a receptacle controlled by a wall switch. When turned on can it also turn on others?**
A: Yes.  If you add the plug to the ESPHome dashboard, then you can add an on_boot automation that controls other plugs, lights, etc.  Look up "ESPHome Core Configuration" -> "on_boot"

**Q: Why can't I update the firmware on this plug? The official one. Not enough space???**
A: You need to take out API encryption for it to fit, otherwise you can change the package filename to kauf-plf12-minimal.yaml, flash, then change back to kauf-plf12.yaml and flash again.

**Q: How can i upload tasmota to the esp8266 without needing to pull out the ftdi adapter?**
A: Connect it to your Wi-Fi and then log onto the web interface (type IP address into web browser). There will be a spot to upload a firmware.

**Q: Flashing 12.5.0.4 of tasmota.bin.gz produces "Update Successful!" message, but it's always showing ESPHOME webpage. Why?**
A: I bought two of these.  One of them flashed with Tasmota after several tries but the other wouldn't so I retrurned them and bought the Martin Jerry plugs instead.  They already have Tasmota installed but you may need to update to the latest version.  They have been working fine for months now.
