This is the best thing I’ve bought so far in my new and steep learning curve into gemmology. I would urge everyone who has a need to correctly identify a stone to have one of these as a diagnostic tool. (Amongst other tools). I’ve already confidently sent fake “gemstones “ back to eBay sellers, confident I was right. Get the tools, learn how to use them, and hopefully be no ones fool.

Excellent when used with light source and loupe

You can't see anything through the tiniest hole imaginable. It's impracticable and unusable unless my eyes are the size of a fly
