Hansshow Tesla Rear Seat Screen for Tesla Model 3/Y 2016-2023, 4.6-inch IPS Touchscreen Provides Rear seat Passengers with The Right to Adjust air Conditioning/Rear seat Heating/Seat Adjustment.

This screen package addresses what I always thought was a much needed feature in the Model 3/Y - the need for back seat controls for vents and seat heat. The screen arrives in a well-cushioned box with a seal on it that says "Do not accept if seal is broken," and , of course, the box arrived with the seal broken. I asked about this but no response from the company...my guess is that the boxes may be opened when they go through customs.There are several videos on YouTube showing how to install this and, while is is easy enough for anyone to do, there are a few issues that can cause problems: how to press some of the tabs is unclear/takes work to figure out, the gold clips have metal teeth that can easily break if you don't pull them off the right way, and it's easy to scratch the plastic on the trim pieces you are removing if you use anything metal to try to pry them loose. Other than that the screen works as advertised and looks pretty OEM. I left off the cable to control the front seat as I don't think that's as much of an issue in the Model Y as it is in the Model 3.

Review 12/10/2023 I have a brand new Tesla M3 Purchased 12/8/2023 I bought this screen for so passengers could control the climate and heated seats. They are able to control the heated seats, Passenger seat, and fan but NOT able to control temp or anything else. Does not seem to communicate fully with the front screen. Also, the temperature units for Fahrenheit are not correct and in .5 or .4 degrees. I feel a firmware update should resolve this issue. Contacted seller and will update if or if not a resolution is come to.

Very fine product

My experience has been good so far. Box was sealed and everything was brand new. Install is not hard and took maybe 20 min. I’d say the only “hard” part was getting the vent off the old one. It’s clipped in there pretty good so be patient. The only knock I have is that I wish the main screen would change when a change is made on the rear screen (fan speed, AC temp, seat heater). It does however do it vice versa. If I change anything in the rear on the main screen, it shows up on the rear screen. Hopefully that will get updated in the future. Other than that, I like it so far.
