So easy to use
We have an almost 18 year old cat who we just relocated to the UK. After getting him settled in with a new vet and his regular labs they wanted to further test his urine. Getting him back there was daunting so the vet suggested this product and I just bring them the sample. I admit I thought it was going to be messy and difficult but nothing further could be true. We have a spare small litter box which we substituted for his usual box, and popped in the crystals. Then we waited. Once he used the box all we needed to do was use the pipette to collect a sample and pop it in tube. So simple. Once completed we were on the bus and off to the vet to drop it off. It took no time at all to set up and our cat took to it immediately and used it like his regular box. The clean up was simple as well. A good value and easy to do. Don’t be worried about the process. It functions exactly the way it says it will. Super easy and no stress on your pet!

Worked as I’d hoped.
The vet told me to get a urine sample, I said ok how, she replied just hold a cup under her mid-stream. She obviously doesn’t have a cat. I can’t even glance at Fifi while she’s in the bathroom without her jumping out in disgust at my intrusion. So I googled the easiest way and found myself here, and it worked perfectly. You don’t get much in a bag so if you have a standard sized litter box for an adult cat then you’ll need at least 2 bags to just cover the bottom. I thought my fussy cat would take one look at those little plastic balls and refuse to pee, but I guess when you’ve gotta go you gotta go.

IT WORKS!!!!
So I was recommended to buy this when I needed to get a urine sample from my cat. I read the reviews that the bag was tiny so I ordered 2 bags. Wasn’t sure whether it would be a success as there’s mixed reviews. I also purchased a small little tray to use to ensure no contamination, which I highly recommend doing. Now you don’t get a lot in each bag, but using the small litter tray I only used one and a half of the bags and that covered a thin layer of the tray. My cat took about 20 minutes to use it after turning his nose up to it each time. Getting the urine was so easy! I already had a syringe from the vets but you do get an pipette and a pot supplied with each bag anyway.I knocked off a star because the bags are small and the price isn’t cheap at all, but it’s worth the 4 stars as it either for my cat (who’s nearly 16)

Perfect urine sample kit for cats
As your cats age, this will be a more relevant stock item in your medicine cupboard... The bag contains everything you need to take a urine sample - crystals, a sucker and a test tube. Never had a problem with a sample taken from this kit. Easy to use then dispose of everything and disinfect the litter tray for next time.

Mixed feelings about this
It does the job though you definitely need two packs minimum so is quite pricy. It’s good it comes with pipette and sample tube so worthwhile just for that but the beads look just like the ones you fill bean bags with. I bought a brand new litter tray to ensure no contaminates and confess I have washed the beads in antibacterial washing up liquid, thoroughly rinsed them and left them in similarly cleaned tray to air dry for a 2nd use prior to vet appointment. Same with the pipette and collection tube with boiled water sterilisation.

Useful product
It does what it should. Easy to use and my cat uses it just like it's her usual litter and the syringe and container are easy to use.

Good price
This is great value compared to what my vet charges! Used for my cat with cystitis and kidney disease to occasionally check for urine retention and levels. Easy to use and he doesn't mind it instead of his usual cat litter. Small bag but you don't need a lot. Useful for urine retention in kitties.
