Nice quality latch. This latch allowed me to install hopper windows at a height of 18' in my Pole Barn. I can open and close the hopper window from the ground with a "Prime-Line H 3662 Transom Latch Hook" attached to a 16' pole. I used a spacer to mount the latch on the window and the catch was mounted to the window frame. Works great!

I needed a new latch for my Little Free Library (the one that came with it was just a piece of wood that rotates), and I was struggling finding one that would upgrade the LFL's appearance while being affordable. This did the trick. It works as promised, feels like it will be durable, and definitely looks better than the previous latch, as well as matching the existing hardware. No trouble with installation -- you just screw each piece in with included matching screws. One thing to be aware of is that "self-closing" here doesn't mean it will automatically close itself -- you still have to push it. You just don't have to operate the latch to close it -- if you push the door shut, the latch will catch. It's very easy. To open it, you just pull the loop to the side.

These latches worked great for my needs. The lock/unlock mechanism seems a little flimsy though. I wouldn't count on them lasting forever but I think they hold up long enough to make them worthwhile. They worked just fine my my use, which was to add to basement windows that kept finding a way to be forced open with high winds. The set includes the needed wood screws with some extras if some get dropped or lost, which is appreciated. Quality feels fairly good overall. I do wish the included screws were about a half inch longer though.

These were the perfect solution for closures for an overhead trap door leading to our attic storage! Ran colored cord from each, through a set of eyes, and then brought cord ends back to far center ring; allowing me to hook the ring and tug, and door opens. Push the door up closed and they snap it securely - works great!

Theyre pretty. Hope they hold up. They already get stuck in the open position. But for the price they do the job. Gave my in wall tank a nice sleek look. And it keeps the doors closed flushed

Wanted to like and use them. Catch hole seemed to not have enough space for normal seasonal movement of wood. If gates I was going to use them on didn't stay right on the same height, it wouldn't have worked. Went with square version that had more vertical lead way. Nice looking latch with smooth round edges
