Please note as per the product label, the directions for use are: “Add a few crystals to a small bowl of hot (not boiling) water. A powerful vapour is produced.” Dissolving the crystals in hot wax to make tealights to ease congestion would be considered outside of the terms of our product license, therefore we would not recommend the use of the product in this manner. Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding Care Menthol Crystals. Please note that Care Menthol Crystals should be used by adding a few crystals (too many will cause eye irritation) to a bowl of hot water, but not boiling water and inhaling the vapours. This may be repeated every 4 hours or so. Therefore, we would consider the use of the product in a humidifier to be off label. I hope you find this information useful.
