I found the perspective the author took on the way our government works interesting and unique, but a little dark. I give it three stars because I found the writing boring and tedious to read. I find the subject of political science interesting, but this book was very dry. If you have to read it, there are helpful summaries at the end of each chapter which I recommend looking at.
