William Faulkner Novels 1930-1935 (LOA #25): As I Lay Dying / Sanctuary / Light in August / Pylon: 2 (Library of America Complete Novels of William Faulkner)

Received Saturday afternoon 1st March only 16 hours late all the way from IL USA. Since December 2024 have six books Library of America this book first slight delay. Thus know condition of book with 3 books each of Steinbeck and Faulkner. Kind regards

A beautifully produced book, comprising four novels of William Faulkner. The Library of America editions are printed on very high quality paper and contain a built-in bookmark. A book to treasure. The book contains three of Faulkner’s great novels: As I Lay Dying, Sanctuary and Light in August; the fourth novel Pylon is less well known. Highly recommended!

The Library of America Hardback edition books are great value: They normally contain a number of stories by the author; sometimes essays; and sometimes autobiographies. They have quality binding, with acid free paper, and offer work by a number of very important writers. Along with the Everyman's Library Classics Editions - they are my favourite book editions.

If you're interested in the finest literature written in English, Faulkner is compulsory. These American Library editions are well made and beautiful.
