They can either go all round the back of the pram onto eachother, or loop around any side bars of the pram onto themselves. It is a very universal versatile fit. There is also a zip gathering mechanism to secure the cover round the footplate with 2 little velcro tabs. **Q: Would this be suitable for a trike ?** A: Hi there. These are not really for trikes as it is a cover, for a child sitting in a buggy/bike seat/car seat, or for a sling cover. It would be dangerous for a child pedalling a trike, as the cover is meant to go over their feet. Hope this helps!
