Great value pointing set
Recently did a lime mortar pointing course and have been working my way around the garden wall, removing the damage done by ivy, buddleia and that bodger's curse, cement render. Originally had just a single tuck pointer, but there were times when a wider or narrower face would have been useful. This set provides a range from narrow to wide, giving greater choice when pointing. Whilst they may not stand up as 'forever' tools, they seem competently put together with a strong enough weld, wooden handles that look quite smart, and on the three or four jobs I've used them for since buying a month ago I've found them up to the task. My only minor criticism at this point is that I'd have happily paid a few quid more if they'd come in a pouch or bag of some sort, to keep them altogether, as I imagine at some point one will go walkabouts....

Good selection
Good to have several sizes. Good value considering the price.

Did the job for me
Needed a set of these jointers for a pointing job, their is a good selection of sizes which I needed due to different joint thickness They are a good length too as I nearly bought shorter ones and so glad Ii didn't as theses were more comfortable to use. They don't bend too much but have sufficient flex so yes they are a good bit of kit

Solid build
These pointing trowels are solid and easily do the job they are intended to do. Highly recommended.

Decent tools
I use these wearing latex coated gloves, so they are easy to hold for me - likely that this would be less easy/comfortable with bare hands though. They feel sturdy enough for pointing a patio. My only complain is that they are hard to tell apart, when looking for a different size in the middle of a job. Easily fixed with a black marker! :)

Very Average Quality
Well the poor quality packaging, seems to match the product.I understand these are not supposed to be the finest quality as represented n the price, however the welding is not great, the handles are very poor and as you can see from the picture, one of the wooden handles is split and I have only just opened the packet. I suppose and can glue this with the aid of a clamp, but really, should I have to that on a supposedly new product? Perhaps the supply would like to comment on whether he would be happy to receive his purchases like this?
