Review: These were purchased to solve a very unique issue with transmitting audio from a bluetooth device (using a bluetooth receiver) over long distance to a whole house audio receiver. The reason this is useful is that I can now locate the bluetooth receiver in a specific area of the house and have the audio travel over a CAT5 cable through multiple walls in the house to the multi zone receiver. I would highly recommend using very good quality RCA cables to reduce noise. I had some cheap cables that I used initially that caused a hum. So if you hear a hum noise, it may very well be related to poor quality cables. Review: Thought that the quality metal body construction would mean a better product. Not so much. I tried a few of these to see if it would help with some feedback noise. It did not help.
