Not suitable for proposed purpose at all. Thin, low quality material - does not feel like silicone to me. When I went to pick up a hot dish they melted in my hand and burned my hand, stuck to my hand and the dosh and made a mess. I had to go to hospital.

The quality of the product is good. But the gloves when worn doesn't fit firmly on hands. It's free size, but I think there must be some mechanism to ensure the product fits all sizes of hands. This is required because we can't handle hot utensils with a lose fit which will lead to a troubled grip. Also the product doesn't seem to be fully heat resistant. Used the glove to hold the handle of a metal pot with cooked Semiya Upma. The gloves completely got heated up. I believe being heat resistance will stop heat even if the pot handle is not made of heat insulators. Due to these issues I have returned the product and got refund. Overall, the product does have a good appearance but fails to perform as stated in description because of lose fit on hands and not being a complete heat resistor.
