Purchased for my campervan was so impressed with the item purchased one for my sister for her motorhome. No splatters when cooking, easy to clean and fits into a small place. Used it on gas hob in my camper and also on my cadac. Will cook a 3 egg omlette, makes great toasties. Lots of ideas online for variety of recipes and uses, so versatile. Need to cook on low heat, however cooks quickly, can also use as 2 separate pans. On cooking some items that contain fat like sausages/burgers for example have a container to drain some of this away during cooking process. Makes lovely toasties too. Great addition to my camping equipment

Bought this to take camping and it has been a great addition to our camping set. It's meant that we've been able to make cinnamon swirls, heat up Indian snacks, do nachos.It's really good quality, feels very sturdy. I like that everything packs in together keeping it really compact.My other half thought it was too expensive a buy but he is now really happy that I spent the money on it.

It’s useful and versatile. We have cooked calzones, fry ups, and toasted hot cross buns as well as sandwiches. I dropped a star because the catch on one of the handles didn’t work and I had to request a replacement. I was sent two but one of those also had a faulty catch, so there’s clearly a problem with that batch.

A compact fry pan/toaster ideal for the campervan. Well constructed and super non stick surface that just wipes clean.

Fantastic gadget for the campervan, opens up a whole culinary world! I still however can't cook. But I'm trying! But seriously this is a great product, really sturdy and should last well. Perfect size for a toastie, or omlette. I've even done roast potatoes in it! Fantastic design.

Only used a couple of times and was sceptical based on some reviews I'd seen.Cooks great. Cleans easily. Compact and great for camping or van life.A must by.

Happy initially; seemed a good buy. Used it once on an outside single gas camping stove-without the handles. Cooked the food fine. After cleaning it, found that the two handles WOULD NOT go back onto the handle prongs. The pan had changed shape during use and distorted the prongs. Tried and tried to re-attach the handles. Then one handle cracked. So disappointed as this was an expensive purchase. Threw it in the bin and told my brother in law who was just about to buy it, not to bother, so he didn’t. The Ridge Monkey XL is just not fit for purpose. I had high hopes for it but we’ve gone back to using a frying pan when camping. AVOID!

I know this would be a great camping addition but sadly it arrived with both of the handles damaged, one cracked and one with the disconnect button missing. I sent it back via Amazon return in original packaging on 29 Feb 2024 asking for a replacement and still have not received anything. I believe this comes from the UK so I was waiting the extra time for shipping. If I don't hear anything I will contact Amazon for help with the replacement process.

Gekauft für's Wohnmobil. Haben lange noch nicht alle Rezepte ausprobiert. Aber Toast, Brötchen aufbacken, Rührei/Omlette und Wraps/Tortillas klappen spitze. Reste vom Vortag erwärmen, ohne einen großen Topf schmutzig machen zu müssen, müsste auch gehen (wenn die Portion nicht zu groß ist natürlich). Dabei braucht man nur wenig (vielleicht gar kein?) Fett und das Teil lässt sich super sauber machen. Auch das beigefügte Besteck (Pfannenwender&co) nutzen wir.Einziges Manko für uns: auf unserem Camping-Gasgrill (Enders Explorer Pro) lässt sich der RidgeMonkey nicht so gut nutzen, weil der Kocher „zu tief“ sitzt und die Griffe vom RidgeMonkey damit auf dem Gehäuse-Rand des Grills aufliegen, der ebenfalls heiß wird. Im Wohnmobil selbst geht’s aber prima. Und Punktabzug gibt’s dafür auch nicht - Vielleicht habt ihr ja einen anderen Grill und damit überhaupt kein Problem🤷‍♂️. Bei jedem Kocher, der höher steht, als die Umrandung drum herum, dürfte es keine Probleme geben.Von mir jedenfalls klare Kaufempfehlung!

The ridgemonkey arrived today, and I was excited to try it out, but one handle is very loose and the other, once on, will not come off at all. I have reread some of the poorer reviews, and it does seem that the handles have a flawed design. I will use it in my camper, but I will have to leave the handles attached, which defeats the purpose of having detachable handles. Very disappointing.

Dies ist schon die zweite RidgeMonkey Pfanne, die ich gekauft habe. Die erste ist im Camper und unglaublich praktisch für schnelle Wraps, Pfannkuchen, Tortillas, Rührei, Bratkartoffeln oder was immer man schnell zubereiten will. Ich heize immer erst eine Seite vor, drehe sie dann nach oben und lege die Lebensmittel in die untere Hälfte. Durch diese doppelte Hitze geht alles viel schneller, und natürlich ist das Wenden einfach mit Umdrehen erledigt. Gefüllte Pitabrote oder Toasts sind der Renner bei uns. Das Set kommt mit einem Einleger, in dem die Griffe und kleine Kunststoff-Pfannengeräte in der Pfanne untergebracht sind. Die Pfanne selbst verschwindet in einem Nepren Sleeve in der Schublade. Praktischer geht es nicht.Das zweite Gerät bleibt nun zu Hause und verrichtet hier seine Arbeit. Ob die Granitversion oder die andere besser ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Beide tun ihre Dienste gut, mit oder ohne Fett, und haben bisher keine Schrammen oder Defekte. Der RidgeMonkey Toaster ist auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert!

Ich liebe diese Pfanne. Habe sie für unser Wohnmobil gekauft um kleinere Sachen zu braten. Echt genial, leicht und platzsparend zu verstauen. Das einzige Manko, sie ist sehr teuer.
