I found that those had been glued in with black silicone glue, too. So back to desertcart to find some high-temp silicone glue to keep them in. I ended up buying this high-temp gasket maker , which is good up to 500 °F and worked perfectly. I cleaned out the hole where the old one was with nail polish remover and a cotton swab, juiced it up with the silicone glue, and let it sit overnight. It turns out these are the same height as the OEM legs, so the grates are once again perfectly flat, even without having to change them all. I didn’t take a torch to them, so I don’t know if they’ll be able to stand the heat, but for now, I’m happy. If they DO melt, I’ll come back and edit this.
