China Musk Fragrance Oil
This review is for "Plant Guru China Musk Fragrance Oil, 4 fl. oz. - Scented Oil for DIY Soap Making, Candles, Bath Bombs, Aromatherapy, Diffusers"This is a really good smelling fragrance oil! It reminds me of perfumes that were popular in the 1980's but in a good way. I have added it to a small spray bottle mix to spritz around the house. I also added it to some fragrance free body wash I have on hand and now it smells like a body wash from a high end luxury hotel. It's a really timeless clean but sexy kind of scent.

Intense powdery musk scent
This is very intense. Interesting fragrance that is familiar in a way I can't figure out.It is very concentrated. A little goes a long way. Works well in crafts and is non-irratating to my skin.

Love this scent!
I love this scent it is called China musk and smells like a musky floral. It is not too heavy and not too light in aroma. You don’t need to use much to pick up the scent. It works great in soaps, oil diffuser or as a body fragrance. It has a very nice spa scent to it!

much more floral than expected
We were interested to try this oil because of the description of 'China musk'. However, there seems to be very little 'musk' notes and is very heavy on the floral (rose, daisy, tulip, etc.) palette, which we did not care for. I was hoping for more spice and deeper musk scents, but instead this an intense scent of grandma's soap. This was a miss for us, but others might like it.

Lots of fragrances in this bottle
Looking at the Seller's list of fragrances, it's no wonder I can't place my finger on the "scent." I think it's a bit woodsy with some type of floral mixed in, while my husband smells spice and a bit of floral. The floral scent is not overpowering (not a "rose" smell, as I'm allergic to roses and this does not set off an allergic reaction). I used a tsp of this oil in an 8oz jar of sugar scrub. I'll play with the amount for future batches, but this does seem to work well. It's also an oil that I feel can be used for both men and women since the fragrance has such a mixture of scents. For my purposes (sugar scrub), this will last a long time. For using it in other products, I can't say. It is a fragrance oil and not an essential oil, so keep that in mind when purchasing it for various other uses.

Light & pleasant but soapy
While this is a fresh, light and pleasant scent, which I am using in my diffuser, it does smell a little bit soapy to me. It actually reminds me of when I am in the yard & my dryer is running and I catch a fresh detergent smell in the air. There’s nothing wrong with the smell of freshly washed clothes, but I’m not sure I want my home smelling like a laundromat. But it is a fresh clean scent that might grow on me.

Smells so good!
This Plant Guru China Musk Fragrance Oil (4 fl. oz.) smells so good! My first impression of the scent was it smells like a baby, or what you imagine a freshly washed, line-dried, fluffy baby blanket should smell like wrapped around a chubby baby. It was powdery & pretty. And when I tried it on myself, it developed into a more floral, powdery scent. Reminds me a lot of one of my all-time favorite scents, Sweet Honesty. For now, I'll just be putting drops of this on a scent pad for what's technically a mosquito repellent bracelet, but I use it as scented bracelet instead. (If you like to save money, search for stuff that's meant to have a mundane use but figure out alternate uses for it!) I'm also going to have to look up a video on how to make this into a solid perfume, so I can add it to some vintage lockets.

Pleasant Diffuser Oil
I've been using the Plant Guru China Musk Fragrance Oil in my diffuser for a few weeks now. I wouldn't say that it is the highest quality essential oil available, but it works well enough to spread a pleasant scent throughout the room. It might be good for soaps, oils, and rubs, but I'm sticking with my diffuser and perhaps using it in a room spray. The packaging isn't giftable, but an essential oil fan might appreciate receiving this as a gift if it were packaged nicely.~ Kort
