The silver is lovely, but the gold just comes up a matte colour once dry, with no hint of metallic shimmer.

Exactly what as described and what I was looking for. Very nice metallic effect. I used these on plastic and can confirm these are very permanent/hard wearing but be sure to allow them to dry before touching etc. It took around 10-15 minutes to properly dry.
