Nice product, helps brighten your hair, I used it while I was transitioning from blonde to natural gray, it is not a dye, it’s a toner & it helps even out colors by toning, makes hair shiny & smooth.

Really does take away the reddish brassy tones. It may look a little too grey initially but it fades and I finally have blonde hair without the red in it!

Ordered this to tone the brassiness of my brown and blonde hair. It was pretty disappointing. Followed the directions just so and there was literally no difference aside from my hair feeling slightly drier. For reference my hair is naturally curly with a partially grown out keratin treatment on it. I am naturally mostly silver now but I dye my hair (and will continue to until I reach 50 at least). Was hoping that it would tone my hair and maybe even help to start the transition to gray.

I’m 60 years old and at this age my hair is still mostly dark brown but I do bleach it. After I bleach it I use this toner to get it to a white pearl look and then I use my bonding agent so my hair will be strong and healthy but this Opal toner is a brilliant white on my hair when I’m all done. Love it! I always look fresh out the hair salon without the cost 💲

I’m attempting to grow my roots out and let my silver hair show but I have a very stark line of demarcation so I am trying to cover some of it up. See 1st picture. Then the other photos are after I toned it. I let this stay on for the full 20 minutes and this is with one shampoo. My brassy roots are toned down some and my over processed hair has grabbed all of the purple undertone of this toner. It works okay and I don’t expect it to last more than a few washes but it’s still better and less expensive than a hair salon or the silver root temporary hair spray. Purple hair is in now…right??!! Haha 😂 Only time will tell if I purchase another kit again but if I do, then I’ll do an update to this review. Bottom line is if you do need to tone down roots and brassy hair then this will definitely work for you too!! Try it…it rinses out after several shampoos!

I let my hair go gray during Covid but now it's looking dull. I was looking for a way to jazz it up just a bit. Didn't think I'd like this product at first but after using it I put it into my subscribe box. It lasts thru multiple washing and there's no roots. Worth trying for yourself.

But didn't really toner my hair and get rud of all the brassiness.

Didn’t do anything?? like literally nothing. I followed the instructions, reread it multiple times because i was like ‘i have to be doing something wrong?’ Nope. Just a horrible product. Complete waste of money, wouldn’t recommend it at all. If you wanna tone your hair, most of the ones on amazon (even the ones with great reviews), don’t work very well. I would recommend going into an actual beauty store or hairstylists and buying it from them.

Don’t think it toned much at all. And found it very drying.
