The media could not be loaded.  Lovely set. The train was easy to build with each carriage coming in a separate bag. You start with the tracks and the small section of platform. I would recommend buying the pack of extra tracks also available from Amazon, some of which I used in the setup in these photos. Don’t forget to buy batteries (takes 10 AAA). It comes with a remote control but I would recommend downloading the Lego Powered Up app as this supplies the sound effects for the train moving, breaking, etc. that you hear in the video. This will also reduce battery use. The tracks can be placed on carpet without trouble. The train has variable speed and can go very fast without danger of derailment. The power supply also allows you to turn on the front lights.I bought this train myself (not sponsored) and so far I am really happy with my purchase. As it is expensive keep an eye out for offers.

I recently bought this toy train set for my 9 year old son and he absolutely loves it. The setup was surprisingly easy and the lightning effects look great. He is already begging me to buy more track so he can build a larger system. The iPad app that allows you to control the trains also makes this set a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

As always lego nailed it! Thank you Amazon for selling it we got some money off and free delivery with prime.My 7 year old is slightly too young for it as he keeps taking it apart and I’ve had to confiscate the engine unless I’m present because I’m worried he’ll break the electrics when taking it apart for the millionth time. Great fun for the whole family though even if you have a trainee master builder in the house who keeps running off with bits 😅

Really pleased with this purchase for my 7 year old. Has lots of enjoyment constructing it and then even more playing with it. The train sounds like a real electric one, is quite speedy, and the LED lights look great. We also bought the Lego switch tracks and extra track to make different track shapes.

This is a brilliant Lego set, but doesn't get 5 stars for two reasons:- The train does have a tendancy to come off the track quite a lot as it is very long and doesn't like bends (at all!)- You don't get much track - you need to buy an extension to make it worthwhile

This set is a lego must have! I bought when on offer so was good value for money. I do think it’s a bit expensive at the normal rate. Great set that I have added to my collection of trains!

This is my 2nd lego train set and I am very happy with it. I have alter the platfor a little.
