Neff Oven Lamp Cover Remover Tool. Genuine part number 613634

Worked well as suggested. No problems but had to use a screwdriver as extra leverage.

Bought this because the oven lamp in our Neff oven died after 2 months. Despite our best efforts the lamp cover obstinately remains unmoved, this was a last ditch attempt to get it to shift. The “remover” doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t grip properly, it fails to help in any way. Utter waste of money, don’t bother.

It was very handy as I have arthritis in my hand and couldn't remove the cover without the help of the cover remover.

Delivery was quick and the item was exactly as described. We needed something to help as the oven bulb glass cover was stuck fast. Initially we were still unable to remove the cover, tried heating up the oven but this still did not work.Finally I put some water in the bottom of the oven and heated it up to produce steam and left it for a few hours, then my stronger husband was able with a great deal of force to remove the cover using this tool.The tool helps to get that bit extra leverage to remove a stubborn glass lamp cover. The lamp cover in our top oven is easy to remove by hand, so try the manual method first before buying.

Read the other reviews and had the same problem didn't hold the bulb cover kept slipping.Got the oven hot wore thick rubber gloves cover came off easy.Careful you don't burn yourself if you have to do it this way

This Neff Oven Lamp Cover Remover Tool. was easy to place on the cover but because my oven light cover was so welded on the removing tool just slipped and turned with out grabbing. i used the tool correctly keeping it square and pushed up but alas it was not strong enough. i eventually had to use a short piece of 3x2 and a mallet to knock the cover to loosen it and eventually remove it. i am not saying it wont work with a less sealed not fit ed and tight cover but i found it not fit for purpose.

Thankfully, it worked easily, and what earlier took too long to make any impression was now done within 2 minutes.A smile reappeared on my wife's face!

The first thing to say is that without it I would not have been able to remove the glass cover over the bulb. So it does work. However it's a poor design. Doesn't fit deeply enough over the Glass cover and thus slides off. Thankfully has a slot at the bottom so you can insert a screwdriver or thin chisel to give extra leverage. The bulb in my Neff oven took an age to remove. Eventually using the chisel at a certain angle and pushing upwards onto the Remover tool with the other hand the glass cover came off. Make sure you wear gloves otherwise you'll tear your skin to bits. A bit poor considering it's Neff (German)

Absolute Kaufempfehlung !!! Bestellt, ausgepackt, draufgesetzt, gedreht und fertig. Tolle Erfindung. Möchte ich nie wieder missen….und was hab ich vorher alles probiert um diese blöde Abdeckung zu entfernen.

This was useless and did not get the light cover off. I did manage to slice my thumb open on the sharp edges around the tool though...
