Weber Lumin Compact Outdoor Electric Barbecue Grill, Black - Great Small Spaces such as Patios, Balconies, and Decks, Portable and Convenient

We live in an apartment with a covered balcony, so propane grills are a no-go. We tried a cheaper George Foreman electric grill, but hated the amount of grease that was pooled behind on the cast iron surface, and that we couldn't get good flavor or seal. We purchased the standard sized grill with the stand. Setup was relatively easy, although we did have a lot of issues getting the stand secured. The price of the stand seemed excessive compared to what you get. It is a standard plastic stand, and the side table that snaps on easily snaps off and falls down. For $100+, I would've expected something more secure and made of better material. The grill itself is amazing. The amount of cooking space and power is comparable to a tabletop propane grill. Preheating takes about 15 minutes, and it maintains its temperature throughout the cooking process. We get a beautiful sear on steaks and chicken. We're really looking forward to trying out the steamer tray that came with the grill. Cleanup has also been very easy. You preheat the grill, and then use a grill brush (not included) to scrape any residue off the cast iron grate. Cleanup of the grease chute at the bottom of the grill is a breeze as well. I also like that the grease can be caught in a disposable aluminum tray, although I'd love to see if there are reusable options out there to be less wasteful. All and all, we are so happy with this purchase. All in, we spent over $600 for the grill and the stand. But it was well worth the price! We are getting so much use out of this grill, and we've so excited for summer now!

Love, love, love our Lumin grill! We live in a 55+ one story condo complex. Gas grills must be used and stored at least 10 ft from the residence. It’s a pain and an eyesore. Our little grill can be used in our garage without compromising space. We’ve made salmon, flatiron steaks, hotdogs, and hamburgers in it so far. Everything tastes as good as any done on the big gas grills! It cleans up nicely, my hubby loves how the heat elements unscrews and unplugs so fully clean everything. The grates go in the dishwasher to make cleaning easy peasy! What an excellent design, worth every cent! Versatility: It cooks big grill in a small space!

I love this outdoor electric grill, highly recommend purchasing. It's perfect for small apartment balconies that don't allow propane grills. Prior to this purchase I brought a different brand cheaper grill that couldn't maintain temperature, so I wound up returning. This grill heats up very quickly (approx 15 mins) and provides even heating with multiple settings including a setting for smoking and steaming and high heat searing. I purchased the additional griddle option and have half the grill with the grate and the other half as a griddle. This is great for toasting buns or sauteeing veggies. I'm pretty impressed with the sear it's able to get on the meat given that it's electric. In hindsight my only regret is not purchasing the slightly larger one to have a little more grilling surface area, but the price was significantly more expensive and this is perfectly adequate for serving 2-4 people.

I am thrilled to be able to legally grill on my patio. It grills very well and the food tastes about the same as would from a gas grill. It is well made and doesn’t take up much space. The biggest problem that I have with it is the smoke. A regular flame grill burns off the fat as it melts but this grill appears to turn more of it into smoke. For a condo or apartment patio this can be a problem even if it is legal. Keeping it clean between uses might help but taking it apart and scrubbing it down between uses is not that practical. IDK, if there was an easy way to line it with disposable foil that might solve the problem. The second issue is power. Most people don’t have a 20 amp outlet on the patio. I can get by with a standard outlet but every thing else on the breaker has to be off or it trips. It is what it is.

I was somewhat skeptical with this purchase. Overall, it had a good star rating, but was concerned about some of the negative reviews. I used to have a Weber gas grill and still have a Green Egg (still my fav). But recently moved into an apartment complex while building our new home, and electric was the only thing acceptable. I purchased the standard, not compact. First tried burgers, just to get used to the heat controls. Burgers turned out great. Then a large, thick ribeye. Took a little longer than I am used to, for the right internal temp, but turned out with a lot of flavor, nice charring on the outside. Couldn't tell it was from an electric grill. It really does get to 600+. If it is really cold or windy, not sure if it will make it to 600+, but I was impressed. Now ribs. Heated to 550, included a smoke box, lowered to below the "low" setting, stayed at 275, Opened the lid to get it there, but it stayed in the range for 3+hrs. Ribs turned out, favorable and off the bone (once I completed the 3-1-1). Overall, I have to say this grill exceeded all my expectations. No complaints so far....it only has been a week though. I didn't get the stand, due to all the negative reviews, and bought a different one from Amazon. Less than $100, and is sturdy and the right size and height (see pic). By the way, the regular size will fit two large slabs of ribs.

Lo acabamos de estrenar... y se nos hizo muy practico para poder asar carne y verduras. no es muy grande, pero suficiente para un grupo pequeño. se puede cocinar en varias tandas. pienso que lo seguiremos usando en nuestras próximas reuniones. y muy bueno que tiene tapa.

Es Nice este Asador Eléctrico porque es pequeño y lo puedes poner en cualquier lugar, no es el típico asador de carbón o gas, este es mas para hacer carne para pocas personas y que no quieras oler a carbón cuando asas la carne o que te quemes por el intenso calor que sale de el, de hecho lo tienes que calentar a su máxima temperatura para que lo puedas usar, la carne queda bien pero no es para asar mucha carne porque es chico y se tarda mucho mas que un asador convencional es mas bien para el antojo de asar un corte pero no quieres sacar tu asador de carbón, es fácil de limpiar obviamente si pones cortes con mucha grasa queda todo sucio y es mas trabajo para limpiarlo, yo recomiendo usarlo con cortes no tan grasosos o grandes.
