Milani Colour Statement Lipstick, Violet Volt

I must say that when I first saw the colour on the screen I thought that it wouldn't quite match up in reality. How wrong I was! The great thing about this lipstick is that if you just add one layer, you have a nice 'electric-lilac' sheen. If you continue to layer it up, wow! It is an incredible violet colour! You can be really bold or prettily subtle with this lipstick - it does not disappoint. I have pale skin and this really looks powerful in colour on my lips. I find it works best if you use lip salve first, let it sink in a bit then use a lip primer or lip liner before applying the lipstick. It feels creamy and sits really nicely on the lips. I am impressed with the quality and love the frosty, shimmery finish it leaves. Definitely a firm favourite!

Arrived quickly and the colour is a bit more dark than in the photo, but still a nice colour. I have a bit of an olive under-tone to my skin and this still works well. It does seem to change tones and shades depending upon the lighting. I wear it more at night than in the day where it can be quite bright. A stand out colour that is popular this season and a bit of a change from the pinks/reds that have dominated the scene recently.

Possibly my fave lipstick out of the 100s I have in my makeup collection! Such a unique colour and stays on for ages. Non-greasy and not too dry. Can't find a colour quite like it on the high street. For what I paid, this is amazing! Definitely recommend. I get very dry lips easily and this doesn't dry mine out like some other lipsticks do! Go for it!

Bloody gorgeous lipstick price colour and scent are fantastic the only criticism is that it has to be added on to a order over £20 which isn't fare

Was looking for an alternative to a Mac lipstick and this is perfect. Lovely scent, intense colour and not too dissimilar to the picture. Have already ordered a second colour from this brand. I've also checked their website and they're a cruelty free company which is always a massive plus point.

What can I say... I dont wear the stuff myself, but following a trip to the USA where my wife bought one and found it to be an outstanding and unique coulour that actually stays on. Happy Wife Happy Husband. overall the delivery was quick.

Love this lippy. Stays on for ages. Looks good. Makes me feel confident. If your trying bright colours for the first time this may not be for you. Id say it would look better on fuller lips. I wear it day or night coz I love it.
