Nikauto 1Set Car Air Conditioning Orifice Tube Removal Tool

A useless tool. Wasted half an hour trying to remove an ordinary GM orifice and it wouldn't engage enough to hold. Finally used pliers to extract the tube. Tried fitting the tool to the old orofice. If one side was engaged the other side would slip off.

Was able to easily remove the orifice tube in my GM vehicle. Product is well made and will last for years of use I am sure. There are 2 different positions available for use here. Figured out which one was best by simply inserting tool into AC line and feeling which felt like it had a tighter grip on the office tube. Do not try to pull out manually. Use the nut to apply even and steady pressure so you don’t damage the small plastic ears on the orifice tube.

If you’re gonna use it for an orifice that’s stuck down deep like a 1990s heavy duty f series, you’ll be taking the nut and grinding the threads to get the reach you need into the pipe. For this price, be patient. Grind away.

Not able to hook the orifice tube to pull it out for some reason. May be me not sureTool looks good just have not been able to get it to work

Not the products fault it looks like it would work for most vehicles but not for a Ford. Found they make a longer specialty tool for Ford. The threads on this product will bottom out on the coolant line before you can engage the tabs for extraction.
