This is such a great addition to my camera, sometimes the thing to screw it in with, the tool, would come off but I think that is on me because it is a strong magnet and a good place to place the tool. Very useful and makes taking pictures much more comfortable.

Unlike some other bases that have claimed full access to the battery this one actually does allow the battery trapdoor to open all the way. The metal tab that the 1/4-20 screw fits into is beveled and the screw hole is countersink so that the door hinge passes over it.I wish it was Arca-Swiss compatible. It looks like it wouldn't require much more metal to add foot wedges. If they come out with an Arca-Swiss compatible version I will have to consider upgrading⭐⭐⭐Is my base rating for a product that is fully functional and delivers on its promises

This a great quality mount bracket. I have the Sony ZV-1 and needed a way to run a direct wire into the camera with a false battery for live streaming but needed this bracket in order to keep the camera’s door open. And this did just that, easily insertable into the camera mount and grips the camera perfectly.

Product fits perfect and actually feels very premium, the metal feels sturdy and has a little weight to it but no enough to make the camera feel too heavy. Works as described and happy to be able to get the battery out while mounted and have a different center mounting point. Only downfall I found was the groove in the back when trying to open the screen it is a little hard with the small gap on the plate, could possibly make it a little bigger to make it easier to open, but nothing major!

Great product at a fair price. This fits the Sony ZV-1 like a glove. The build quality and sturdiness is very good.

By no means did this fit. I have a zv-1f and it did not work.
