NVXXTRI1 Remote Turn On Module/Trigger

Installed a high powered system in my car. Had a problem with speaker pop when the car comes on. It literally blew the firs set of tweeters I had. So at first, I installed a manual on/off switch for the amp trigger wire. It worked, BUT not when anyone else might be in the car like the wife and parking lot attendants. Bit the bullet and ordered one of these, took about a half hour to install piggy back on the amp’s power/ground/trigger wires. It would’ve taken 5 minutes if I installed it before stealth mounting the amp upside down on the rear deck. It’s just nowhere near as easy to do while laying in the trunk and working in a tiny space on something hanging upside down. If you’re doing a stealth install, the best bet is spend the $8.99 and mount it piggy back on the amp before mounting the amp. This works perfectly. It will definitely be one of the best things you ever got for less than 10 bucks.

I used a stock speaker to go into my Hi Input capable amp, but it was thumping when turning my car on. The delay in my amp wasn't enough. I had to switch to a LoC and then run the remote wire from the Kicker LoC into this module. It was a bit more of a setup, but it's nice not getting in the car and forgetting to turn the bass down, then absolutely scaring the crap out of myself.

Installed as instructions state. Lack of ability to time delay made it useless in my setup and the turnoff was even more pronounced now with this installed. Turn on still very noisy.EDIT - yeah the product didn't work in my application but the seller made it good for me so the overall experience was positive.

All it ends up doing is delaying the inevitable "pop" by a couple of seconds. NOT a substitute for a soft turn on at all. The ONLY reason I am not returning it, is because it is too much of a PITA to remove everything again to get to it and my time is worth more than the $9 this thing cost.
