Strong adhesive, good for flat surfaces.
I wanted to see if this would hold up something heavy, so I cut a square of the hook tape, cleaned the surface with of some ductwork with alcohol and rubbed it down. I did a similar process with a loop square and put in on a 20 oz claw hammer. I waited maybe 15 min before pressing the hammer against the hook square. It stayed there without coming loose or falling for about 10 minutes, then the hook and loop separated and the hammer fell. The problem could be due to the hammer surface is not flat, so not all the area of the loop engaged the hook square. The adhesive held on both squares. I like this product.

KRUI 2 Inch x 26 Feet Hook and Loop Strips Mounting Tape: Strong Grip
This is strong stuff! Box says 1 sq inch holds 1lb. So be careful to use ONLY an amount that is appropriate for what you are mounting. Use too much and you will have a hard time breaking the Velcro bond- may break the tape side bond, or damage the hanging object first. Since the tape does bond strongly (let cure for 24 hours), I would be leery of mounting on painted walls in finished parts of your house. Will probably take off the paint if you have to remove it.Through Amazon Vine I got the 2" roll. 1" would be adequate for most home applications. It is not easy to trim it neatly into thinner strips as I needed to. White color is preferable to black for mounting on walls. Won't matter if it is covered by what you are mounting, but if sometimes only the wall side of the tape is exposed, black will be jarring. 26' feet is actually 1 x 13' fluffy and 1x13' grabber section: more than most folks can use in a lifetime. Share some with family and friends.I had to trim mine down into narrower strips to mount the 3/4" x 24" top housing for a cellular shade on an aluminum & glass panel hurricane rated door. (the warranty would be voided if I screwed mounting brackets into the door.) The door gets full afternoon sun in the FL summer so time will tell how the mounting adhesive holds up when the door is hot to the touch.

Excited about all of the stuff I can hang now!
I rent an office and my living domicile, therefore I am not too hasty to put any holes in the walls I don’t own by hanging stuff up. The aforementioned is the reason my work space and my living space can seem so… empty. It’s a huge bummer, I know, however I’m really tired of being denied my entire deposit due to silly holes the size of a pinpoint.Anywho, I love this stuff. I think it’s genius and perfect for a ton of other random things that don’t involve hanging on my walls. For example, my nieces are always trying to find ways to keep their privacy door on their cute little elephant tent open so they can play “bad kitty versus bad kitty owner” hahaha. I used some of this and ta-da!!! They can now keep it up with some velcro that means business! I was also able to attach this to items I’m always needing and somehow always losing! They now sit happily on my wall right by my desk when these items are waiting to be used for the day.I’m not sure if I want to test a max weight this stuff will hang on a wall … I feel like with my luck it would end very badly so I am keeping it safe for now and slowly but surely using it for heavier and more precious items (slow and steady wins the race , right?)DO wait 24+ hours for the adhesive to dry and get the best stick possible to whatever surface you are using this on. You will be pretty disappointed otherwise and trust me this is a product you will be happy with if you just adhere to the directions (see what I did there? Ha!)

High Quality, Strong and Economical!
This is a handy dispenser package for individual rolls of Hook and Loop material. The hook material is thinner and rolls more compactly. Each generous strip is 2-inches by 26 feet. The separate packaging and large format is seldom found in retail stores. Both strips have a strong, slow curing adhesive protected by a thick, easy-to-remove layer. Separate packaging of the strips facilitates usage in a pre-planed operation or where an addition is to be made to a garment that already has one gender of fastener. The adhesive bonds strongly to two types of plastic which are normally considered challenging. The two things I have found that give weak bonds are Teak wood and pressure treated wood. These surfaces require reinforcement with #2 flathead screws. This is the method I use to construct insect screens and sun shades. This product is great for adjustable clothing and adding accessories to existing Velcro fabrics. Projects can be assembled quickly for evaluation and repositioned as necessary.KRUI hook and loop tape is a good value for the money.Highly recommended.

JUNK
Two small command hooks can hold a white board. I had THREE large strips, 6” long, and IT FAILED! I looked like a clown in front of my coworkers- telling them that the Velcro was fine. That was fun rehanging the white boards in a walk of shame. STUPID!!! It failed in every way- came off the wall, came off the back of the white board, and the Velcro itself didn’t adhere. Don’t buy!!!!

Once you get it in the box and feeding right......you're good to go
This Velcro works really well and the Sticky Side themes to hold end stick 2 various types of material. I think this will last me many years as I don't have a used daily for Velcro. I use it mostly for cable management and some tools or containers and mounting on different surfaces. I like that the Box they come in as two different spots for you to run the different sides out of. But it was a fun puzzle trying to get them in there and able to spend the rules around to feed out of the openings. Enough of the ends were catching on both sides so you do have to finagle it a little bit to get it through the openings. But now that that is done I am good to go. For the couple items that I have used it on I have had to really push for wiggle the item a little bit to get it to adhere 2 the entire velcro strip. It almost felt like it was just gripping it in a spot or two if I just tried to quickly attach the two pieces. With a little wiggle or a little Force the item was definitely more secure. not sure if it really has to do with this velcro though and some of the items maybe just a little heavier then the intended use.
