Re my previous question on length...I know it says 42" in the desc but my spade was also described as 42", but is 46", I hoped someone could confirm?

If you measured it along it’s curved length then it will be an inch or two longer.

Can anyone please tell me how long this shovel is, from top of handle to tip of blade? I'm 6' 2" and hope it is about 46", same as my Roughneck Spade

This shovel is 42" long, shorter than you were looking for, but it suits me fine and I am also 6'2". Don't forget that a spade has to go below ground level for digging holes, but a shovel is for shifting material that is piled on top of the ground or out of a bag so it does not need to be as long.
