My nephew loves this new gear. The split helmet/mask set up works perfect and doesn’t interfere with his glasses like a hockey style cat Catchers mask.

My son is a catcher, and after wearing the fully enclosed head gear for a few years he wanted something that showed him more vision. So after our research we purchased this cap and open face mask for him. He loves it. It’s airy in the heat, and allows great vision, even the umpires like his gear, BUT not all youth baseball leagues and tournaments allow the youth to wear those kind of catchers face masks. So know before you play. And have a backup.

Ultimately, its a fantastic product. If ur a travel ball.player, high schol college, even pro player. This is a solid product that will keep your head safe and its shape seems to perfectly hold my all-star brand mask. Whether on top of my head or on my face the mask seems to have a cozy plaze to be my guardian for my gorgeous face. The one downside, that i actually removed and replaced with hand sewn padding, was, well the padding. The interioir of the helmet is definitely not artisan grade, butnit passes for government work. (Notice. I am an artist and have knowlege of proper cements, paddings, and fabrics. Do not advise destroying your helmet as i did, but for the price, your pretty or ugly face can be protected with absolute certainty
