can this be used as a setting powder?

I use it as a setting powder all the time. I dust a bit on my skin before applying makeup and then dust a bit on top of my makeup to set it and keep my skin matt. As long as you're not globbing it on, there's no reason you can't use it as a setting powder. It doesn't change the color of my makeup and I have very fair skin.

What are the ingredients?

It comes exactly as you see it online.  The ingredients listed on the lid are: Talc, Bismuth Subgallate, Kaolin, Zinc Oxide, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Carbonate, Zinc Stearate, Sulphur.  It comes with a small powder puff or you can use a makeup brush to apply.

Would this work for dark skin, or does the powder look white on skin due to the talc and zinc?

I know this is old, but I wanted to share my experience: Short Answer-Yes, I use it and I have medium brown dark skin. Long Answer- I love this powder, as I am oily/combo skin type and my skin gets congested very easily which quickly leads to break outs. I mainly use this as a setting powder, I have and have used many setting powders but they always lead to me breaking out so I gave this a try due to the silver and zinc which are good for Christmas negated skin and it works! It gives decent shine control & sets my foundation beautifully but it does leave a slight white cast on the face so I fixed it by using a setting & fixing spray after and that seems to take away the cast as well as my oils soaking it up. Also best part, no flash back on camera.

Can this be used over a moisturizer with saylicilic acid?

I do personally use this product over my moisturizer & it’s fine. My moisturizer does not contain salicylic acid due to my having sensitive skin, but imo, that should be fine. You could contact the company to verify if you want.
