It's basically a SHIMANO ZEE but half the price. Item comes in a nicely packaged box. My biggest fear was that this thing would fall apart but so far everything seems to be solid. I put over 100 miles on it. I converted my old 8-speed 3x to a 1x. Old crank used a square taper BB. This one appears to be hollowtech II. One thing to note is that the BB comes with two spacers and you're supposed to use one spacer on the drive side if your bike frame accepts a 73mm BB. But that caused the chain to fall off from the crank when I was in the lowest gear (largest cassette ring) in the back because the chainline was too crossed. So I had to remove the spacer and no more chain drops. I went with 36T chainring version and it seems to be adequate. You'll run out of gears when descending on pavement. If you don't want that to happen you can buy a 42T chainring.
