2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU
So wanted to wait a week or so before writing review to play with item and get a feel For it , I will be as detailed as possible for my experience on installing this unit in a 2016 Jeep JKU sport with non U connect factory radio . Let me start by saying I absolutely love this radio ! Removing factory radio was easy ( only 4 bolts to remove bezel ) once old radio was out i quickly realized the new plastic dash housing is keyed but not labeled ( tabs on bracket need to be oriented a certain way ) , I routed the gps receiver to the right of windshield cutting a small tab in dash storage tray , and the mic for blue tooth I went to left of windshield under removed bezel and then to pillar . Connections for wires are keyed and easy to figure out , true plug and play ( steering wheel volume/ radio controls all function perfect) . The antenna connects for my vehicle were off , connector supplied only hooked into Sat antenna feed ( brown clip ) but the white clip antenna feed on Jeep is am/ fm and I simply removed white clip and tied antenna directly into correct am/ fm feed ( reception is awesome ) , the 2 usb connections for Apple car play direct connect I bought a 2 port dash mount extension for a clean finish ( got on Amazon usb2.0) . The camera I had to improvise, the supplied wires were a little short (since I have an aftermarket rear tire holder) so I purchased an additional 16ft feed ( off Amazon ) camera also does not come with a bracket so I made one with 90 angle bracket and mounted to tire holder behind spare . I tapped rear taillight wires for camera power and ground right above rear taillight passenger side ( white with grey is reverse light power and solid black is ground) . Camera is awesome , CarPlay is amazing Bluetooth is very clear , gps nav is fantastic. Only negative I can mention is wallpaper GUI upgrade selections will all cost you additional money so you are locked into the one it comes with . Great but for the money , you will not be disappointed 🤙

Great Product for the Money
This is an impressive little unit at a decent price point. I chose this over other cheaper brands as it appears to have more robust customer service from some of the other reviews. I would have given it 5 stars if there were better install instructions and the camera wire appears to have a short in it (positional at the camera itself). So I may need to purchase one separately. For me the backup camera was a bonus as I was mostly looking to upgrade the stereo / Bluetooth in my 2011 JK. The sound is much better (and louder) than my stock stereo. All steering wheel buttons work as before. The camera required a splice as in the instructions (not sure why it wasn't designed to plug in instead of having to cut?) and I hooked up to the reverse light which on mine was a white wire with brown stripe (see picture). All in all it took me several hours by myself and I found a good stereo removal video on you tube which is a must before you start. I also soft wired everything and adjusted settings prior to final install which took a little longer. Firmest ok as in pics. It comes down lower than the advertised pictures as you can see. This covers the center vents just a tad but doesn't impede their function. This was a great upgrade for my Wrangler. Final install note - the plastic mounting bracket is positional with the clips and pins from the dash. My dash wouldn't go back on and I rotated the radio mount bracket 180 and it went in ok. See pic above which is BEFORE I flipped iit. UPDATE After using and messing around with a little: I was able to tether my phone as a Wi-Fi hot spot and downloaded pandora and Apple Music to the unit itself. They lag just a tad but I'm excited with these options. Map seems to work well and still exploring this thing. Still remains a great purchase for the $ and I don't know what the similar high end models ($1000+) would offer beyond this unit.

Horrible, only lasted 3 months!
**UPDATE**, attempted to contact customer service to see if they would stand by their product since return window closed and not even a single reply! Took me a while to finally got this installed and loved the stereo at 1st. Install was fairly easy and everything worked fine for just over 3 months but all of a sudden we lost all sound. I previously worked as an installer for a reputable car audio store so yes, I’m fluent with proper installation. I pulled the stereo back out and confirmed but still have zero sound on any source settings.

Good radio for a great price
Installed in a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Everything (steering wheel control, backup camera, door sensors, etc.) worked after installing without any additional setup. Installation time was least than 2 hours but I’ve installed a radio previously so it was not a new experience for me. Still learning some of the finer points to get everything the way I want it but that’s just because there are so many options for setup. Display is much easier to see that an older Sony LCD display I swapped out and sound quality is noticeably better too. Great radio for the price.

A bit larger than expected loads of ability
Install was very easy and quick, still need to hook camera up. It kept dropping my android auto off so I ran system updates, still drops so I will just use usb cable for now. Looks fantastic. The UI is very easy to navigate. EQ abilities are a bit excessive. When you get sound good on one song it sounds bad on a different. My daughters iphone did not do well on the carplay connection. Audio was different quality each time. And took average of 3 min to get it connected and playing any music from her phone. Only gave 3 stars because of android auto and car play issues and some loose terminals in connector. I had to remove the terminals from both connectors for audio signal to factory amp and solder them together because speakers kept cutting in and out from very loose terminal tension.
