I bought these as an alternative to painting on rock slices and with the purpose of making coasters as gifts for my friends.They we mostly smooth however there were parts around the edges which I used fine sandpaper on before then using my acrylic paints.I used a white base coat so that colours added would pop and a clear spray varnish to seal. Again a minimum amount of sanding after the base coat.I’m really pleased with the product and will definitely buy them again for other craft projects I have in mind.

The Items arrived on time, well Packaged and look great when etched with our Laser Engraver.

A very good set of smooth blank coasters. I use these for laser engraving with excellant results. Easily finished with varnish or stain.

Just what I wanted

Decided to start wood burning and used these to make sets of coasters for Christmas gifts. These were my first attempts, I’ve improved with the shading now. Once varnished and the enclosed non slip spots put on the bottom the recipients were very pleased with their presents.
