I love this tin as a quick add to salad, pasta, or rice for a convenient protein add! These anchovies are more like sardines (not the brown salt cured ones). Also love that all the seasonings and oil are Organic. Makes for a perfect lunch in the middle of the work day. Super high quality!

I ordered these Patagonia anchovies to make anchovy toasts and also for a homemade caesar salad dressing. Delicious!! There's a lot of product in the tin so definitely getting your money's worth, and the flavor was great. I also like the extra bonus of these being responsibly sourced. I would definitely re-purchase - all the Patagonia tinned fish products I've tried have been high quality and good flavor, these included.

I like these anchovies they are just the right size. I use them in puttanesca sauce they add just that kick it needs, I also use on salad niscoise , and on homemade pizza.They taste very fresh.

Sardines Like Just Tastesflavor anchovies with do to Nothing

After having spent $12 for a can of white anchovies, which I love and have been eating for years, I received a can of not very appetizing sardines. Definitely sardines. What is going on?

While I prefer the flavor of boquerones en vinagre, these, in lemon olive oil, are a great stand-in substitute. I feel a little pity for the occasional reviewer here who believes them to be sardines.

I was looking for Boquerones, these are not that. I know they do not say they are. They’re ok, but for my taste, I’d rather have something else. The product is good, spices are a nice touch.
