True the hammock itself does not guarantee the weather on a tropical island but it really is so relaxing lying in it, sensing the natural swing and watching the clouds go by. The hammock stand is very easy to put together with just five poles that slot onto one and other. Simple screws keep everything in place and are easy to fit. The whole thing can be constructed in a matter of minutes with only one person. There are two hooks that screw into the arms of the stand. These can be positioned at different heights to adjust the height of the hammock. The hammock itself is made of nice thick cotton with sturdy looking ropes. It is designed as a double hammock and comfortably took two adults sitting in it together. Personally I enjoy my hammock to myself (terrible I know) and find there is a little bit extra fabric than is needed. Although in the less than predictable UK weather I found it nice to wrap myself up in the extra layers. The whole thing can be packed away into the enclosed storage bag. As long as you store everything in neatly it will be fine. You can then carry around the bag but it is fairly heavy so would suggest limiting this to moving it from the shed/garage to the garden! Personally I haven’t wanted to leave the stand out in the rain and have chosen to pack it away each night. I’m sure it would withstand some weathering but I have opted to keep it dry. This is a bit of an extravagant purchase but it’s so relaxing and worth every penny. The quality is great and I love that it can be packed away when not in use.

Absolutely fantastic hammock! I was able to assemble it quickly within about ten minutes of its arrival and enjoy the sun in comfort. The hammock is very comfortable and is made of double woven cotton which is heavy duty and will last a very long time, also the stand is good quality and does not look like it will buckle or collapse like some of the cheaper variants you can get in shops. I would highly recommend this as it is a great quality hammock that you could easily use inside to sleep in if you had the room available.

Purchased this hammock a while ago now and its my favourite piece of garden furniture. Really easy to assemble, 2 minutes tops, the frame comes in 5 pieces and 4 screwsa and is very sturdy. The hammock itself is cotton and very comfortable. I have the double version and you can get 2 adults in it but i will say its not too comfortable. It takes the weight fine, my husband is 14 stone and i'm 10. Love the bag that comes with it so you can easily pack it away making it ideal to take with you camping but only if you have a car! It is quite heavy. Now the weather is better i tend to leave the frame up and just take off the hammock at the end of the day. You can buy cheaper hammocks but i think the quality of this one is well worth the price and can see it lasting many years.

Background/light product research: I was weighing up getting one of these portable hammocks for a while and searching a few different products before opting for this one. There are similar products for cheaper, but this one is of a respectable quality, bearing in mind that the prices of cheaper alternatives still cost a fair amount and tend to have an increased chance of using cheaper materials. As a rule I try to avoid going too cheap on any item that goes between myself and the ground e.g. shoes, chairs, mattresses...your back and feet will thank you. Assembly: It is easy and fairly quick to assemble: 5 finger tightened bolts, 1 of which can stay in, that secure 5 sturdy metal tubes. The hammock hooks are adjustable and tightened with wing nuts. The fabric is nice and fits 1 very comfortable or 2 slightly less comfortably (check maximum reccomended weight). There are also 2 spare rubber feet, and the bag the set comes in is good quality. Usage: This has been ideal for me in a garden that doesn't have trees to use for attachment points, and I have also used it for camping as well as in the living room for fun. The fact it can be disassembled into a carriable bag is very convenient. TL;DR/Summary: Overall I can't find much fault with this product and would reccomend it for the summer months especially if you have a garden or enjoy camping, but do check other alternatives and get a sense of average pricing. This isn't the cheapest possible option but you can tell that it has had good funding in production.

purchased as a gift for the Hubby, totally loves it, very spacious and comfortable, comes with a carry bag, very sturdy and the quality of the product is brilliant, also height can be adjusted on the hammock, I would recommend this product

Bought this as a birthday present for my little girl who loves playing in a hammock at forest school. She was thrilled with it but was upset that the rainbow one she'd asked for (and I'd ordered) was actually the desert moon colour delivered. When I tried to get in touch with someone, all I got was amazon's policy of either return or refund which is a lot of hassle to send the full heavy box back instead of just the hammock. Anyway, little one was so desperate to play in her hammock that she didn't mind the colour at the time but now all she goes on about is that it's not a rainbow. We've all had a go in it and it is sturdy and very easy to put up so definitely worth the money spent.

Fabulous... Purchased 5 days ago, fast delivery. Assembled on my own in 10 minutes. Excellent quality. Have been cocooned in its comfort every day. Highly recommend. Will be easy to disassemble to store for the winter. The cotton is soft and as it's natural fibre doesn't make you sweat . Feels secure enough to drift of to sleep in, which I did

Tissus de bonne qualité, le pied semble très solide mais pas lourd à transporter! Et le plus non négligeable c'est son étuis de rangement!!! N'hésitez pas, vous passerez un excellent été dedans!

Good quality, sturdy and feels like it will last.

I'm a heavy guy at 350lbs, and this hammock and stand holds up perfectly. I was an insomniac with the inability to sleep. Or if I woke up, I couldn't get back to sleep. Switching to the hammock, as of right now I have gotten 8 solid hours a night for the last 17 nights. It is portable and absolutely comfortable. No back or joint pain either. You need this in your life. The only thing I want out of this company is more designs. Maybe in a year if they can print out a vibrant green patterned hammock I will buy it. Other than that, fantastic.

I bought this because I have been working with my sleep for a long time. Sleeping bad in my bed, tried the sofa, and another bed. I have slept much better in this hammock than all the other alternatives.
