Not sturdy - some types of dumbells won't fit
The stand will hold the weight of my dumbells (40kg in total) but not all types of dumbells will fit e.g. ProIron neoprene covered dumbells of 6kg can squeeze in but it is difficult to squeeze them out. My 8kg dumbells won't fit.

Does the job if you have smaller dumbbells. The gaps between rungs aren't big enough for larger dumbbells to fit in the rungs next to each other though.
