Surely a sugar crust negates the simple authentic taste?

Is the classic plain? Or does it have raisins, nuts etc in it?

Doesn't have nuts in but does have dried fruit in , was delicious!

What is the best before date on a product ordered now?

I purchased mine just before Christmas last year. The BB date was August 2020 So 6 months.
