Wooqu Book Cloth, Fabric Surface and Paper Backed, Easy to Use, Strong, 17x29”, for Book Binding, Dark Green

This book cloth worked great. It comes on a heavy roll in very good shape. I've been able to redo several spines with a single roll. Is it super high professional grade? No. but for the money it offers excellent value.Both of these 170+ year-old books had no spines. The book on the top was repaired with book binding tape. The more complicated and wider spine was done with Wooqu Book Cloth. The black cloth is very rich and dark. Because of the width of the wider book, I opted to make it a little more durable by coating it with an acrylic glaze. The black picks up lint and chalky skin residue with time...so this on is sealed. I've left some 1-inch spines uncoated and they also look very good.Strength is pretty good. The poly fabric over thin paper provides a good cover hinge on a heavy book. If you cut it with an exacto blade there is very little if any fraying. A very good solution. the leather and foil labels add sparkle and finish. Available at Asterisk Books if you can't rescue the old ones from your worn cover.

I’ve been hyper fixated on rebinding my paperback books into hard backs and this material is super easy to work with. It cuts really well and glues to book boards nicely. I was able to get two book covers rebound with one roll of material with a little left over. The color is a little lighter than pictured, however, it’s still very nice. I don’t love the way the material feels, it’s almost a little rough but it’s not a dealbreaker at all. I’ve gotten this brand in at least four different colors.

Great quality. Rich color, as advertised. Durable.I will mention that not a lot comes on the roll. I've been able to bind 3 books per roll (3 medium books on one roll, 1 large and 2 small on another).

I’m used to high-end book cloth from Hollander’s and Book Craft Supply, but this worked well in a time crunch. The quality is fine, definitely not up to par with more expensive book cloths, but worked just as well! The main thing I noticed was it was harder to fold, but not terrible. Didn’t have issues with it being too thin. I don’t always love waiting for my more expensive book cloths to come in, so if you’re looking for a cheaper version to get quicker, this is a really good option.

It was the Robin egg blue color that caught my attention. Now I can't wait to bind a book with this beautiful book cloth.

I'm a beginner so I can't attest to the quality that much.. This is pretty much the only brand I've ever used for bookbinding and it seems to be working okay..
