Straight forward to assemble and with good instructions. The light inside is a very nice feature. It sure is bright enough. If there was anything to improve, I would suggest a dimmer on the light, so you can set it to whatever brightness you prefer.

Unfortunately this model missed the mark. The gage was far too small on the wire for powering the light and broke. This is saddening because I was really looking forward to having this lighted model displayed.

I have made a few of these wooden puzzles. Some of them are a total nightmare, but not this one. It was challenging but do-able. Lots of extra parts where needed and the light is a really nice touch! The dome was fascinating to assemble. I’ll spend several days coloring this with markers with my kids to add to the hours of fun. Great product.

ThisTaj Mahal kit is more of a model kit than a puzzle. As a beginner to models, I found it to be very challenging to put together, but in a good way, not a frustrating way. The pieces are quite fragile as they are made from thin pieces of wood. I used some tools, including an Exacto knife and some tweezers to try and remove the pieces from the wooden frames. Fortunately, the kit arrives with extra pieces for some of the more delicate pieces as I broke some while removing them from the frames and assembling some of the more fiddly bits. You will need some tools and a work space where you can spread all of your pieces and leave them out.The instructions were a bit challenging to follow at first. Everything is shown in pictures. I had to take my time and look carefully at the pictures to find the pieces I needed and to put them together. Younger builders may need some help as I found it pretty challenging! The kit says that it takes app. 4 hours to assemble, but it took me much longer. It is best to take your time and not rush while putting this model together so that you don't have to take things apart and put them back together. It’s very easy to snap pieces accidentally while you are trying to snap them together. You will want to exercise patience and concentration to assemble. When all else fails, glue and sandpaper work wonders! I put the model together slowly over several days and enjoyed the process. I found it calming and a great way to destress after a long work day.When the model is assembled, it looks great! I love that the Taj Mahal lights up. It looks marvelous up on the shelf next to my other models and I have received a lot of compliments. This kit would be a great gift for someone with some model experience or for a teenager/adult looking for a real challenge.

This building kit is amazing! We had lots of fun assembling it. The description on the box says 'Persian Love Palace', which is strange, because this is obviously a replica of the Taj Mahal, and the Taj Mahal is a tomb in India, not a palace in Persia. Some of the translated instructions are a bit awkward, but the illustrations make them easy to follow. You don't need any glue as the pieces all snap together, however we accidentally broke a few pieces and ended up having to repair them with glue, so you do need to exercise some caution when assembling the pieces. There are some spares in the kit, but not every piece has a spare. Some pieces are tricky to attach to others, you need patience and precision. Each piece has a little tongue that goes into a slot, and sometimes it's a tight fit and you can use the included piece of sandpaper or a file (not included) to help the pieces fit easier. When lit up, it looks absolutely gorgeous and casts a nice fractal pattern on the ceiling at night. When looking at the finished model, it's hard to believe that this was made from flat sheets of wood out of a box. It's a work of art!

This is my first 3D wooden puzzle, though I've admired them for a long time. Often you see them with moving parts and I find that intimidating! The sheets are very delicately cut, you'll need to remove the whole plastic wrapper, i.e. not try to slide them out, because everything is very tightly packaged. This is not something to rush through, it will take time and patience and careful handling. The instructions say "for people over 14 years old" but I would add to that "who have a lot of patience and concentration". It's not like working on a jigsaw puzzle! The payoff is worth it though. Would make a great gift for budding architects, travelers, or anyone who just likes building things.

This puzzle is great quality. It's well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I ordered this for a game night activity and we had fun putting it together.

This is one of the best wooden puzzles that I have ever built. The instructions are very clear and the pieces are easy to remove and assemble. What most people don't realize is that other wooden puzzles that have moving parts are prone to failure and disappointment due to the wooden parts that require a certain amount of wax placed at specific points to keep the pieces moving. Since this is a static wooden puzzle with no moving pieces you won't have any problems like this at all. The added LED lights is just an added bonus, and really looks cool at night when the lights are all turned off. A really great wooden puzzle.
