This product really works on dry hands. I have sensitive skin that easily cracks around my fingers when I work outdoors. It is hard to heal and most moisturisers help but only for a short time - it masks the problem. Ameliorate heals the dry cracked skin. Religiously put on in the beginning and in a few days the problem is gone. Now I use in the morning and evening and my hands look great. There is a scent but it is not offensive to me. I am just purchasing a second 75ml tube to have bedside.It is also the right size for travelling on an airplane where extra moisturiser is needed.Great product! 👍🏼

Great brand with lots of clinical research on their technology, not exactly cheap but the investment is worth it as the cream works amazingly for the purpose.

I have "workers" hands and nails having dogs and horses and my hands are dry and rough.I am always searching for the perfect hand cream and have spent a small fortune in this quest so when I was offered this product to test I thought it would be worth a go.With the first application I saw huge results, I am impressed!My hands weren't as dry and have been improving each day. The cream doesnt smell, its not thick and greasy but it does the job. I will definately be buying this product.

My wife has dry and quite rough feeling skin on her hands and has been using this for just a few days now instead if Diprobase. The Diprobase has been her favourite for a couple of years but it tends to leave the skin quite "hard" feeling, even though it clearly protects really well from splits and soreness. Her verdict on this new cream is: "I really like it". Why, because: it is easy to rub in; it absorbs really quickly; a tiny amount is sufficient; the softening and smoothing effect is very long lasting indeed; it isn't at all greasy; it is not heavily perfumed.This cream has, unquestionably, made her hands feel really soft and smooth. That's a husband's view, anyway! There is no question it has produced an unusually good effect that seems to be long-lasting and is much better in terms of appearance and feel than they have been in a very long time. So, although the price is high, the tube will last a very long time and effect is unusually good and long-lasting.The cream apparently works because it contains lactic acid which, it says, slowly exfoliates the dead layer of skin from the surface, leaving a softer smoother skin exposed. This process sounds harsh but the opposite is proving to be the case: it is gentle and slow but seems to be producing excellent results. The reviewer that finds the cream "wet" might be using too much, as , really, only a little is needed to create the best effect.

I have some sort of as yet unidentified condition (no, not new to science, I just haven't been to the doctors yet) on my right hand, on the palm to be exact - which periodically results in a dry, sore patch on the ball of the thumb. It never moves, it only lasts a day or two, then it goes. I have to be careful with using heavily scented or fancy hand creams for fear of exacerbating it, but this was lovely. It's rich without being slimy, has a lovely gentle perfume and made my skin feel really sort. Moreover, a few applications day and night solves my (probably) new to science condition. Now, where's that doctor's number.....

I have been amazed at the difference this treatment has made to the state of my hands. I have very dry hands which are prone to chapping and cracks in the winter time. The skin around my nails often gets flaky and having tried all kinds of high end, specialist, as well as lower end creams and treatments, nothing seemed to make much difference.I received this hand treatment recently just when my hands were getting back to the dreaded state of dryness due to the cold winter days/ central heating combo. The instructions state to only use it twice a day after applying it last thing before bed the first time. Within a day or so my hands felt much more comfortable and all flakiness and dryness has almost but gone. The treatment contains AHAs which work towards collagen production and elimination of dryness, as well as works on keeping rough skin and cuticles at bay. The treatment applies easily and I take extra time massaging it into the areas of concern such as around my nails. Be careful to use SPF on top if you use the cream before going out as the AHAs temporarily make skin more prone to sun damage.Overall I cannot recommend this treatment enough. Having tried other excellent Ameliorate body products, I think that this range of products is very well thought out and honest to its claims, which is such a refreshing rarity for a skincare brand. Well done!
