Prince Harry: The Biography
C**D
Prince Harry—very brief biography with errors
This bio attempts to present the facts about Harry’s life. However, errors like stating that the Queen gave him the title “Duke of Essex” on his wedding day rather than his actual title “Duke of Sussex” and stating that Harry’s father Prince Charles became King Charles II rather than III are two examples of the most glaring errors. The errors greatly reduce the utility of the bio as a factual primer. But then, now that Harry has so eloquently told his own story in his own words, bios like this are very dry in comparison.

not a typical paperback
I thought though I ordered the paperback edition, it would still be a presentable gift. It's more like a Hare Krishna looking pamphlet type publication. I am so embarassed as this was a gift.

No personality, no details
Prince Harry: The Biography is published by University Press. It was published in 2023. This is a relatively short biography and is definitely short on details. The major events in Harry’s life are addressed; but in a very direct and succinct manner. There are no explanations on how events in his life were handled nor how they affected him. I was disappointed in this book as I expected more. There is no personality in the book. Usually after reading a biography, I feel like I know the person a little better. Not this time. I felt like I could learn more about Prince Harry if I read an encyclopedia entry.
