Quality chair that looks great but is ultimately flawed I think.
I’ve been delighted with our other Maxi-Cosi purchases and had high hopes for this chair, but I’ve ended up feeling a little bit disappointed with this high chair. To be fair it looks great and looks like the quality product it is, it’s very well made and is sturdy and stable, was easy to put together and folds away quite neatly but there are flaws.....My biggest issue with it is that the tray has a large bulbous plastic lump on the underside which stops me from getting the tray close enough to my daughter without squashing it hard into her groin. It seems to serve no purpose as the seat straps hold her in place anyway and it means the tray is just a bit to far away from her at her current age (just over 6 months old at the time of writing this). She can reach the closest edge of the tray but that’s about all. Put a bowl in front of her and she struggles to reach it. If the bulge wasn’t there we could get the tray closer to her and problem solved. The odd thing is it’s not a mould part but there is no obvious way to remove it, I’m seriously considering taking a hacksaw to it!!!Two other lesser issues as far as I’m concerned are, when you slide the tray into place the “teeth” don’t slot into place very easily so you have keep sliding the tray back and forth while pushing the button on the end which retracts the teeth until you get lucky and it clicks into one of the slots.Secondly the seat restraints seem a bit inadequate. The Maxi-Cosi car seats have great padded shoulder straps which keep our daughter in place but on this high chair there’s no padding just narrow nylon straps and as a result we find our daughter quickly slumps to one side or the other as she’s not really held in place as securely as I’d like, without fastening the straps tightly that they’d dig in a bit too much for comfort. To cap things off, my sister in law has bought a high chair for our daughter to keep at her house and she paid less than half the price of this Maxi-Cosi chair and our daughter sits in that far more comfortably (recently she happily sat in it for over a hour, we get about 15 mins at best in our MC chair before the grumbling starts!!), and it just seems to “work” better. Yes it’s a bit heavy, white and plasticy, has less overall capabilities but I’m starting to think about ditching our MC chair and just buy a cheaper chair which is actually easier to live with.

Really wanted to like this
I researched highchairs for a very long time before making this purchase. It came down to two and I took the risk on this one. Although, I like a lot of its features, I can clearly say I regret this purchase. I have had it for a few months and I don’t think I will change my mind.Firstly, it’s not wipeable. The description makes it seam that it won’t be a problem because it’s easy to clean but how many times can you machine wash it in a week. Also, you can’t use the high chair whilst the cover is in the wash.Lastly and most importantly, the bottom of the tray has this wide protruding plastic underneath it. This bit sits directly between the child’s legs whilst seated. This is such a nuisance! Maybe it’s meant to stabilise the tray but a lot of highchairs have managed this without anything of this size. My daughter is on the small side so it’s not even because of her size. The only reason why I didn’t return it is because my daughter threw up on the seat the first time I placed her in to see how she fits in it.Sadly I’m stuck with it but don’t make the same mistake.

Elegant, stylish, easy to operate high chair suitable from birth
I bought this high chair for my new born son, so that I could keep an eye on him more easily whilst in the kitchen. It is a stunning chair, looks great in my kitchen, is pretty easy to assemble and the additional insert ensures that my now 3 month old baby son is very comfortable. The seat can be moved from one position to another very easily, so it is great if baby is sleeping and you would like them to be lying flat, whilst also allowing the baby to be in a more upright position to allow them to feel involved whilst the rest of the family are eating. It is easy to strap the baby into the chair without it being uncomfortable for the baby and also ensuring that they are safe. I can't comment on its' use as a high chair for feeding as my son isn't yet old enough, but the tray looks smart and it has a removeable top which will make cleaning it easier. My one criticism is that it only has wheels at the front, which makes it difficult to move around. It would be better if there were 4 wheels and perhaps a break to keep it from moving once in position. This is a great high chair and I would thoroughly recommend it if you want a stylish, practical product that is also comfortable and safe for your baby. Just bear in mind that it does take up quite a bit of room and is difficult to move around. However, it can be collapsed if space is tight, although mine is always setup as shown, so I am not sure how easy it is to collapse and put back up. It also comes with a plastic seat attachment, which can be used from around the age of 3 if your child wishes to join you at the table or the entire seat be removed and attached to a normal chair, which again I haven't tried.Lovely product and very happy with my purchase.

Mostly great
I bought this chair when our little one was about 3 months old. It offers such a long lifespan in terms of use and looked super comfy. We're getting the most use out of it now that she's eating and a bit bigger, but overall, I'm really happy I got this. I've made points on a few pros and cons below:PROS:1) Can be used for a decent while making it worth the money2) Excellent quality & super sturdy3) Plastic tray cover bit can be removed for easy cleaning while having baby safe in the chair4) Adjustable footrest5) Removable newborn/smaller baby cushion insert6) It's a lovely looking pieceCONS:1) With it being so sturdy, it takes a bit of effort to move about2) The wheels you're meant to use to slide it around aren't the greatest3) If there's a big spill, you'll need to remove the seat covers to wash them4) It takes up more space than the average feeding chairAll in all, despite the cons, I'd still recommend this for any parent. Looking forward to seeing how its use continues over the upcoming years!
