Yes they do scrunch up the corner a little bit once the top clip us secured into place but i will have that over the duvet going walkies inside the duvet cover. I was hoping to use just the four corners but i have had to use two for the middle top and bottom mainly because my duvet is only a one tog a (due to the menopause) which is paper thin so moves around as soon as ive got into bed lol. I’m not sure if these would hold a thicker duvet but these have stayed on the night with a thin duvet. Very happy bunny. Just using one at the top in each corner has stopped this happening. They do the job, but pop off occaisionally (esp on a thicker tog duvet) and it is a bit of a faff to reposition the duvet correctly and pop these back on.
