My Nintendo dock had problems on DAY ONE. I couldn't believe it. The problem would occur when removing the switch from the dock and putting it one. I thought I had figured out how to deal with it, but when it came back and nothing worked I looked for an alternative.This one has worked flawlessly. You have to wait maybe a full ten seconds for the input to recognize the device, and you have to manually power it on but so what? It works and it wasn't expensive.It is superior to the nintendo dock in every way EXCEPT it has no connection for LAN. If you need that, you'll want something else. I personally don't.

The size of this secondary switch dock is perfect. The magnetic stand supports my switch while keeping it cool. I’ve returned other docks as I’ve had issues with flicking when connected to a TV, but not this dock. Plenty of additional ports for charging and/or an ethernet dongle. It does require the use of the original or aftermarket usb-c power adapter. But I found using a device charger with 30w of PD will work. Highly recommend!

This dock does everything the original one does, but it's more portable and cheaper! Fits easily into my switch case even has a protective magnetic cover over the usb c connector. Great value!

This charger/base works just as good as the original and is a good replacement. The side USB ports are good for wired controllers and the bases charges and hooks the Switch up to the TV. Would recommend.

Love the dock so far! Super easy to travel with and haven’t experienced any bricking or other switch issues that I’ve heard about from other docks but can’t ever say for sure!

It is very easy to setup. Quick to store. Perfect for travel or to have a second TV where you can play your Switch. Video quality seems the same on my 60 hz, 4k TV. Played through Metroid Prime: Remastered and now LoZ: Skyward Sword HD. Only thing of note is that turning on the Switch doesn't turn on my TV anymore. Only a small inconvenience. Otherwise, I love it and the price point is perfect for this backup.

I bought this dock because I needed a small one to take on holiday for the kids and I like the way the it collapsed together to be really compact, with nothing sticking out that could break in the suitcase.Ordering and delivery was a breeze, and when the Dock arrived, I was shocked at how small and compact it was. This thing is tiny and I'm talking seriously small.I knew it didn't come with any cables so had ordered a suitable power supply and had a spare HDMI cable to hand. The ingenious back rest is magnetic and simply pulls out and sits in the grooves on the top. The grooves keep it in place once the Switch is docked as it leans on this and makes sure you don't stress the port.Power supply and HDMI connected and plugged in, I docked the Switch. I was worried by the angle, but I shouldn't have been concerned as it fit easily and was held in place securely.There was no signal coming through to the TV so I pressed the button on the dock and boom! Image came through no problem and looked nice and sharp. For those that are wondering, the button allows you to.use the switch in TV Dock or in Stand mode. A nice touch as it means the power drawn can be lowered when you just want to use it in the dock.The dock worked perfectly and charged the Switch. I've had it and used it regularly for at least 4 months now and can safely say it's caused no problems and I highly recommend it 👍NOTE - IT DOESNT COME WITH A SWITCH CHARGER WHICH IT NEEDS TO WORKI started having problems with the official dock not long after getting my switch, as it would sometimes appear pixelated on my tv, and sound and visuals would suddenly cut out for no apparent reason while playing. I got this dock in the hopes that the problem was with my dock and not my switch, and thankfully it was, as it has been working brilliantly and it's much more travel friendly and low-key compared to the original dock which is unnecessarily bulky. I wanted to give it some time before leaving a review to see how well it held up over time and it's been great, no pixelating on tv anymore, connects easily to tv once switch is slotted in, and doesn't cause my switch to overheat or accidentally scratch it when fitting it into the dock. Across the board a great product and recommend it even if you still have the official one to use it as a back up or one to take with u travelling etc.

Does the job as intended to dock the switch to a display (used a generic hdmi cable + steam deck AC power adapter PD 45W). One thing it genuinely does better than the official dock is that it doesn't scratch the screen as there isn't a front plate (Nintendo still haven't fixed this so many years into the console lifecycle). I can't speak to the longevity of the product only having it for a week or 2 however.If there are any complaints I'd have to give, it would be the unnecessary display on/off button and possibly the USB connector cover. The display on/off button doesn't really serve a purpose as the switch can flip the TV/monitor display state without the need of a button.I can see the magnetic USB cover being helpful for travelling by protecting the USB section itself from other hard metallic objects, as well as protect other items such as fabric/clothing that might get caught in it. But for most all other generic everyday use cases, I can't see any other (functional) purpose in it aside from aesthetics.I suppose that if the display on/off button and magnetic cover was not part of the manufacturing process, the product could be somewhat cheaper, but then again wouldn't be as marketable I suppose.Overall, works as intended for a fraction of the price like all the other reviews mention.

Très content du produit . Un dock facile à emmener partout en voyage. Ma Switch étant sous garantie, j'ai racheté une alim d'origine et on est 20€ moins cher que le dock d'origine . Le seul petit bémol est le branchement de la switch sur le dock qui est un peu délicat car pas de guide pour la placer comme sur celle d'origine sinon c'est TOP !!!Je recommande !

Fonctionnelle juste un peu faibrile sur la tenue mais fonctionne bien jamais eu de problème
