John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Shampoo For Colour Treated Hair 250ml

I have hair just below my shoulders. I am old enough to have had a crush on David Cassidy and my hair is still fab! 🎉 I found this JF shampoo after searching for a decent replacement for my all-time favourite volumizing shampoo (Samy’s Big Fat Hair). I tried everything after Samy sold his company and he “salsa-ed” off into a Miami sunset (miss you, Samuelito!) and the new buyers tanked the product. 🙁JF Volumizing Shampoo is a great product and though it does not smell like roses...it works, so who cares?! Now, some reviewers complained it did not lift the roots. That’s why you must ALSO USE the JF conditioner AND the JF Root Lifting spray. The conditioner does not weigh the hair down and the spray really works to give the hair a big fat Texas hair boost! (The state of the giant beehive hairdos, in case you weren’t aware 😁). Spray it on wet hair after combing it out...you don’t need too much. Spray sides, put some on back of the crown, then push your hair up and spray underneath your hair. (“Get it in there, darlings!” as Samy would say). Then, blow dry by bending from the waist forward, zuzzing, zuzzing as you go with your fingertips! Pull the hair downward toward the floor and blow dry with gusto! Want more root volume? Follow with old-fashioned electric curlers. (Which I took on a salon visit recently btw...and the stylist had no clue how to use them! David Cassidy would have known how!) This line of products works...just use them all together and blow dry. Listening to salsa music while you do this helps. 💃🏼Update: 2024…After a bout with the C-V…my hair took a beating and I had to change to “Core Restore” by JF. Great product. That was discontinued and its replacement (ProFiller) was not the best. I changed to a densifying shampoo by Charles Worthington and this worked well.

Always get good results when I use this shampoo. Very economical as it goes a long way.

Nice shampoo, tube was slippy to use in the shower with wet hand. Would prefer it in a bottle for better grip

Not much of a smell. On the positive side you don’t need much to get a good lather and it does what it says . My hair is very fine and this shampoo has definately given it more volume , even after a couple of uses

Adds amazing volume and brightens the colour to my hair. I don't buy any other shampoo or conditionor

1 package has been damaged in transit resulting in shampoo clip to be cracked, causing shampoo to escape and cover other 3 bottles. They need to be packaged differently as the cupboard board was covered with shampoo on the inside.

eccellente da volume alla chioma e cura il colore ne prendo subito un altro perchè questo è per il colore l'altro lascia i capelli voluminosi per 7 giorni

Ottimo prodotto!!! Ovvio che non fa miracoli ma consente un maggior volume ed una tenuta più lunga, anche per i capelli sottili
