Amazing machine...
I use this beast for all my office work and do not miss Windows at all.The processor is really snappy and it handles multitasking effortlessly. The touchscreen and track pad are super responsive and it feels very premium.Solid metal body but compact and lightweight.Resolution could be higher but I find most content looks great.Being fan-less you may find prolonged video editing will warm things up a little... But a cooling stand really compensates well. You won't needv this unless you're really pushing the i7 chipset with some serious demand. It's cool as a cucumber with standard use.Tablet mode is great for art work and taking notes with a USI pen. The built in pen is okay for brief use but has short battery life so maybe pick up the latest from Penoval...I find it works well with this machine. It's handled everything I've thrown at it so far and at the knock down price it's well worth the spend. It stops receiving updates in 2029 but that's plenty of use!I'd say try it... It's brilliant.

Laptop for browsing
it does it very well. It has active heating dissipation therefore it might become a bit warm if used for long placed on laptop but that is not excessive. This likely impacts the battery life, which I was hoping to be a bit longer but that's not bad anyway, it's a Chromebook afterall. Being a Chromebook also means there are some differences to the usual standard operations: there is no del key, only backspace to cancel, and on this one double tap on the touchpad does not allow to drag, but it is required to keep pressing the touchpad when selecting word of dragging a map or a window on the screen. The keyboard is very good, as well as the screen and the overall building quality. It has a very convenient and easy way to communicate with an android phone, which also allows to get internet connection without entering the tethering settings every time. Weight is excellent as well as responsiveness, it is very quick to respond to inputs and to load webpages. At this price it is easy to recommend this Chromebook.

reliably quick, open 10 web pages and still going stong
reliable with a quick boot. decent storage (if you need it as cloud is there). multiple boot available for different users and google accounts make set up easy.backlit keyboard is now a must and min 8g ram as i have found another PC lacking .People complain about this getting hot but it is just not a use in bed laptop. yes it has afan whichis a good thing and it works very well . its not loud as other have said unless your listening to nothing else in a quiet room.my laptop is on a stand and never gets hot it has when on my lat but if i open my legs and dont BLOCK the fan its still fine.I tested this processor to itr max running abolutly everything at the same time and pligging ina old had disk drive with 12 internet tabs open and fan running a full pelt and it didnot slow down.recomended ( unless you sleep with and use yours in bed)screen is super bright and perfect for a movie speakers better than most but just ok.2x USB 3.0p and 2x USB-C + HDMI and headphone socket

Brillant piece of kit but heavier than I would have liked
For anyone looking to switch to Chromebook, this device is a good one to pick. It has a great screen, keyboard, trackpad and the internals are great too. CPU and paired with 8GB means it is very quick.Getting this with 12-months Gemini Advance is a nice addition. At £18.99pm, it is a huge saving. My only gripe which is me clutching at straws, the weight is a tad on the heavy side and the battery could be better.

So Far, So Good.
It has taken me awhile to get used to not having Microsoft Word, but now that I have more or less got my head around how to use Google Docs, I am very impressed with this laptop.Quick tip to those like myself and need to share my screen when using Skype, you must make sure that all of your Google Docs & files are available "offline" This took me 2 weeks to figure out! Overall, very impressed with the speed, screen quality and battery life, although the claimed "10 hour" battery life is an exaggeration, it's still good for a few hours, but certainly not 10. In my opinion, well worth the £250 I paid.👍

Fantastic Chromebook Plus
I've never had a Chromebook before but just wanted a device predominantly for easier web browsing for those times that apps and mobile browsers just don't cut the mustard. Opted for this one as it had a good saving on it (though I don't always trust those "was THIS! now THIS!" offers on here, but I have to say - I'm really pleased! It's lightning fast to operate and really easy to navigate. The screen looks great and everything is integrated seamlessly with my phone. Better yet, the device itself told me that as this is actually a Chromebook Plus it meant I get the £18.99 a month AI and storage upgrade for free for 12 months. I was already paying for the 2TB memory upgrade for £8 a month so it's saved me £96 in the first year already - even better! No regrets whatsoever in getting this and can highly recommend it to anyone.
